@immadoppleganger It's more an american thing. In europe girls at 14 don't look that grown up. It's more us guys that look mature at that age. People mistake me for 16 or 18 year old while I'm 14. And it's not common for kids to do drugs before highschool (15yrs+). That's where drugs, sex and alcohol begins, sadly in my opinion drugs is something that you should stay away from, and for heavy drinking it's too early.
@Dgl44 Nah I think it's European as well as American. But by European mainly the UK. I think the US and UK are very similar. Other parts of Europe maybe not so much. Same w/ other English speaking countries (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) Our people are all pretty much the same.

@Dgl44 Nah I think it's European as well as American. But by European mainly the UK. I think the US and UK are very similar. Other parts of Europe maybe not so much. Same w/ other English speaking countries (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.) Our people are all pretty much the same.

@immadoppleganger no it's just that people in the USA/Canada/the UK/Australia, etc. some teenagers put on tons of make-up and wear skimpy clothes which makes them look a lot older than they are. Without the make-up, and in a t-shirt, they look their age. I'm American and 16 and don't wear make-up and people think I look 13 (not like the girls in this movie...they don't look 13. They look older than me). But it's all b/c of make-up, etc.

when I was 13 I was still playing pokemon and doing kids stuff like waking up early on weekends to watch cartoons and then beg my parents to take me to the beach to surf. I never thought about sex and much less about doing drugs at that age. I have smoked some weed and done stuff with girls but that was when I was like 20-22. haha

I think I would've liked it more if it was called "Sixteen". Not because it doesn't happen when you're thirteen, but because I can't relate. We were barely starting to talk to boys in *that* way when we were thirteen, and making out was a big deal. O_O

I'm 14. Hmm.. Life is good. my friends are amazing people grew with them since birth. and you know I don't wear make up cause I'm too young. that's what my mom tells me. I hate it cause even an eyeliner she would refuse. all my friends are using one and I'm here like a 10 yr old. but hey I am still and kid I wanna enjoy it. when you grow up.. your gonna miss it. @ninjagirl1413 but not to everyone...some kids are able to look past the popularity, past middle and high school....30 years from now, it wouldn't matter if you were popular or not or if you did drugs or not. And yes, everyone has been through their teenage stages, some worse than others and some don't come out of it alive unfortunately; we all did crazy things that we regret but that's just life. We all have to get through it in one way or another.

When I was in elementary I knew 13-year-old girls just like the ones that Eva and Nikki play in the movie. I'm not saying super intensified shit like this happens all day everyday within the 13-year-old female community, but it does happen.

@Starr5495 because they lived in a dangerous neighborhood for young kids- trust me I used to live in a dangerous city in MA, where kids really did all this bad stuff at such a young age and girls like me used to get bullied because I didn't dress like a slut, do drugs, or have lots of sex- it sucked, but I'm in college now:)
