When I'm in Hawaii having fun with the other 400 Vector reps that made a lot of money this year and got great experience all you haters will be working at low paying jobs and hating going to work every day. Your choice.
The fact that CUTCO is #1 in North American in Kitchen Cutlery is irrefutable. The fact that there are hundreds of reps across North America that have made 10, 20, 30, 40 THOUSAND dollars a year from selling CUTCO is also irrefutable. How could a company with 17 million customers be a scam? I can show you picture from Scotland, Hawaii, Toronto, Whistler, Calgary, Montreal (many more) that I have gone to for FREE or a huge discount because of Vector Marketing.
Also, those supporting Vector, making these videos and posting these comments, take a look at their Youtube accounts, they're fake. Doesn't take a genius to go on google.com and search "Vector" to really know how big of a scam and waste of time it is.
@ironkrow My sister and her boyfreind sell Cutco and she (epsecially him) do well, In fact my sisted is the #1 female rep for colorado. You just have to work hard that's all, btw her boyfreind has sold over $1,000,000 worth of cutco so he does just fine.
Why do people say vector is a scam?? They tell you exactly what you're getting into & how it works. If you think it's a scam OBVIOUSLY YOU ARE THE IDIOT.!!
@DropkickAlex89 you will spend more than that over your lifetime though. It has a forever guarantee. Your children's children's children, you get the point, can have it resharpened, replaced, polished, whatever, for free. FOOOOREEEVVER.
I sold a Homemaker and 12 Stainless steel 5 pc place settings on my first demo to my parents(2 days ago). My manager gave them a lot of free stuff though. So instead of 1800 dollars of CPO, I only got 1200 dollars. Still a radical paycheck at 10%. Got promoted to 15% now :)
@snog47 Vector/Cutco suck dick. I have a "friend" that gave my number to them and received a call getting me to come in tomorrow for an interview. After a 10 minute talk on the phone, I was gullible enough to think it was legit.
Cutco is not the best quality in the world. If you think that, I challenge you to research the materials used in the knife and compare that to material in many other knives. You will learn very soon how to spend you money wisely. Knives are an investment, don't skimp a few hundred bucks because you think it's a good idea. Pay the extra money and get an extra special product, not cutco.
the michael scott school of business is all you need, and i guess having cutco on your resume doesn't hurt? i mean look this dude looks like he's successful
the michael scott school of business is all you need, and i guess having cutco on your resume doesn't hurt? i mean look this dude looks like he's successfull
@MrClover17 so do I. I'm going to Olean This weekend. be careful dude, you could get your contract terminated by trying to sell online. @the other comments that are negative: quit being stupid. its not a stab at vector because people gain valuable life experience working for the company. and of course it says cutco alumni, he is an actor!
@kmathisk I would have to say it is. My Mom pulled out her 40 year old table knives that still cut pretty good after years of hard use, and she's going to send them in to be sharpened and polished for free. I wish I had her table knives, they are AWESOME.
Hey. If you don't know whether or not to try out Vector, check out my video here: /watch?v=N3kYEcDwEdI. I've been working for them for over 3 months, and I have real information to share. Watch the video, respond, and ask me questions.
@catastrofart 'kind of' sketchy? How about the fact that you need to put down the names and phone numbers of your family and friends before you get paid? They are a textbook pyramid scheme that targets teens that don't know any better. They even pay people to go on message boards and defend themselves against people like me who see through their ruse, so don't be surprised if I get a reply to this comment defending Vector.
@Metamorbis92 ayite dude im gunna tell it too u straight about the whole name thing when my branch did that we were just doing for contest to see who knew the most ppl and who would want to be hired at vector its a choice u dont HAVE to right down any namesif u dont want too i make like 500 bucks a day its that easy and anyone else can do it even ur sorry ass no offense
I believe I received a call that the pay would average $16-17/Hour. How would you make 500 in a 24 hour period with that hourly wage? 500/15=33.3Hours.
Sorry, I'm mainly just curious. But do you have a higher wage than that, or are you a higher up such as a manager?
@Dredghill ya but there is this thing that u call o idk "selling", if u sell 3 (home maker plus 8s) then u get at least $297 dollar extra maybe more plus the $16 an hr work for like 10 hrs plus the $297 and well there you have it you got about $500 plus a bonus and a promotion after you sell $1000 worth of stuff
it's 16-17/ appointment, not per hour. You either get the base pay, which is somewhere between 15 and 20 usually or incentive, which is based off of what you sell. The more you sell, the higher a cut they give you. Sell enough and you can make half of what you sell. When I sold a $950 set of knives in one appointment last summer, I made like $425 in less than an hour. Pretty boss.
@Metamorbis92 so I take it you never made bank with cutco... figures; well I don't know what you're talking about with this names and numbers thing; but I can assure you that the money you make is real and if it's a scam... well then, poor me; I got scammed out of unemployment and all it's benefits... and now I have to put up with easy money...damn! Vector must be stopped!
If you guys have any questions and want even more special deals on Cutco cutlery items, send me a email at ericdanielphillips@yahoo.com I can send it out to you guys in 2 - 3 days so don't be shy to ask! CUTCO!!!
hahaha I didn't say anything about cutco except that YOU are PERPETUATING the IDEA that cutco creates a cult mentality. Then I said you should have fun selling knives. You have taken that a an insult and you're call ME the idiot. You do a good job insulting yourself.
I'm in the training for Vector Marketing right now. I've been doing research for weeks, but I'm still going to try it out. I figure, if it doesn't work out, I get the experience, and a set of knives. And if it does, I get all of that plus a paycheck every week. I guess I'll see... Maybe I'll post a video in a few weeks about it.
I don't understand, they are making fun of Vector, the Office is making fun of the experience aspect of Vector Marketing. When selling knives is put with working at Arby's as business potential. It would only take a Vector rep to think that they are getting props on a great job. if you are honestly proud of this video then Vector Marketing is the place for you because you are missing the point.
@btcaulley actually they wouldnt mention it at all if it wasnt at least a little bit awesome or famous, so the fact that they are mentioning it already says that vector is infamous at the very least cause they think that people will understand where that joke is coming from...
@Yogurt40 hahah, yeah, and they started in 1949, with only henckels and wusthof being competition at number 2 each time. AND they donate to charities.
seriously though. i just started with vector, and i told my manager about working to make my town's animal shelter 'no kill' and now thats going to be part of our work goals (getting petitions/foster homes/donations for pet food, etc)
If they sold in stores they would only make around 40 mil a year like Henkels. Instead of the 249 mil they sold in 2009. If it was a pyramid scheme you wouldn't be able to get your money back. You can return your sample kit and be refunded completely. Plus pyramid schemes often do not involve a real product. So it is not a pyramid scheme. You can't be scammed if you got nothing to lose.
vector marketing should be shut down, and cutco should sell their own knives in stores. oh wait, then the managers wouldn't make huge profits off of college kids using a pyramid scheme. 95% of people that accept a job at vector marketing quit within two weeks, but who cares, that was enough time for them to sell to their families, and now it's time to start over and hire again. Fuck Vector! Scam!
wrong, the product sells itself, just tell the customers about it and they buy, as America does with its 16 million customers buying 200+ million annually
dude the only people who think cutco is stupid cant do math. if you could do math (and i cant imagine how your life must be without that ability. just another brainless brick in the wall...) youd see that you save money over the course of your life, and you get a product that is the best of its kind.
try to be more intelligent before opening your mouth.
Yes you sound like a typical cutco rep, rude and condescending. Anyway, yes they are good knives, had ours for years. It's just that most people don't want to be sold a knife by someone they hardly know.
well i work for vector and my paycheck for last week alone was a little over $1100 for doing the easiest shit ever. my guess is you interviewed for the job and just sucked ass at it.
How? Because those who sold well speak from their positive perspective? You're an idiot and a sheep following the herd of easy cynicism and 'well that guy said it' sans any personal experience. The worst thing you waste is time if you have no one to sell to, but you do make money, and if you manage to get a decent amount of buyers, you can easily make a livable wage. The non-scripted reviews explain it pretty accurately including pros and cons.
@gutterpanda I have lots of fun!!!!! and money!!!! and apparently cult experience... thanks for letting me find that out!!!! yay!!!! three cheers for CUTCO!!!!!
yeahhhh michael scott is one of the only honest characters of the show and he was promoted to branch manager for being the top sales rep...i noticed those who wish to "f*** vector" usually don't have sales skills and enjoy blaming the company.
