  • stanley donen is a genius.

  • @giuls711 he and hitchcock go hand in hand

  • havent seen the movie yet but wow just by looking at this.... it makes no sense. and it looks exciting

  • excellent movie....i saw it about 20 years back.... I think it was BETTER than several James Bond films!!!!

question: looks like Peter Sellers...which actor is in 0:32 and 2:15 ????

  • @Star1931 I presume your reffering to the actor Alan Badel 0:17 who played the villainous sunglasses-wearing Najim Beshraavi.

I'm a very Arabian Arab, I'm afraid, intones Mancunian Badel, in brownface.

  • @Star1931 ....or are you having a giraffe?

  • WoW I didn't know you also like Mancini so much, Mike!!

    (Twice in your faves!!)

    Cheers, buddy!!

  • You have done your job STC, i am intrigued..to see this now

  • One of the stupidest movies. I loved every minute of it. Ha.

  • Absolutely brilliant. This movie had me on the edge of my seat as a schoolboy watching on tv. In later years it still stands up extremely well. There are plenty of moments that etch themselves in your mind (Peck and Loren in the shower for one).

Many thanks for posting this one and bringing back great memories of a great but oft forgot thriller. Class!

  • No problem.

Thanks again Eddie for the support.

  • Great work! Top 5 Mancini score for me. They don't have great melodies like this in main themes anymore.

  • Breakfast at Tiffiany's,Touch of Evil, Pink Panther, Charade, Hatari!, The Great Race, Peter Gunn, Experiment In Terror,The Party ....great period work.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • Lovin' it! , thanks for posting!

  • Glad you like this one. Thanks for your comment.

"...the ultimate in sixties spy kaleidoscopes, in which the working out of the plot matters much less than the stars, the jokes and the lavish backgrounds."

  • A double treat with Sofia Loren to look at!

  • Thanks ...I'm glad you enjoyed them both.

  • one of mancinis most memorable scores which went so well with the film

  • Thanks for your comment.

"The opening sequence is full of pent up excitement with a touch of eastern promise."
