This incident received INTERNATIONAL MEDIA coverage and made our City look bad in the eyes of the entire world. It made me ashamed to live in St. Louis. After stunts like this from our "leaders", is it any wonder that businesses move out of the City and others refuse to locate here? Reduce the amount of alder-persons to 9 from 28 (One per each police district) and it will save the city tax payers over $703,000. Fact: The Police Officer's Association as well as the Fireman's Union will unite to petition for this subject to be put forth onto a bidding public opinion ballot. The general public is on their side, it's best for the tax payer!
