  • How can I move this from padded mats to outside?

Whenever I try to do one outside on grass my body won't physically let me do it...

  • @CalvinBGood stay on the padded mats for now then, keep doing it until it feels natural, the you should be able to do it on grass. It may feel lower and less natural, but if you can do it easily on pads then you should at least land on your feet on any surface

  • what shoul i care more about? the height or the fast spin?

  • @gainauda no offence but that's like asking whether you should care more about eating food or drinking water; both techniques are essential to the success of the move, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered mentioning them

  • First try i landed on my heel and butt, now i can do doubles like no problem. thanks man.

  • nice video i still have troubles though and i dont know when to un tuck

  • Very helpful great vid :D

  • i landed it on my bed and now i feel sick:/

  • @acceptscootering I disagree, I don't tuck at the 'top' of the jump, i tuck as soon as I've left the ground. i think if you tell a beginner to tuck at the top of the jump they will under rotate, there's no point in over complicating stuff

  • @natcomber13 But tucking as soon as you left the ground means you'll land relatively low, or barely make the trick.

  • @zombieguy619 notice i say i tuck as soon as I LEAVE the ground, not immediately. I know perfect technique involves jumping up straight, but that is confusing for a beginner and very difficult on grass. You're technically correct and we both know that, but those are the reasons why I have not included that particular detail.

  • @natcomber13 Ahh i understand, as a means of helping a beginner out, well I admire the fact you made the tutorial, and thank you for helping the people out there :)

  • Nice video :)

  • bad

  • @joeystar102 bad...as in good?

  • @H3CTiicDyNaMicZ ooooh dear, that is potentially problematic. good luck with that

  • Um, I don't have a trampoline.

  • @TheParadisis then you are at a disadvantage, but watch from 2:08 and you will still be able to do it with a bit of practice :)

  • i hate u. i broke my neck doing this.

    from heaven

  • Thanks to your tutorial, I learned how to frontflip in about a month.

    Cheers!

  • thanks alot. Can you make a tutorial on back flip ??

  • @TheMrJokerz97 thanks, but why don't you check before making requests? I have one already

  • hay i can do it good on a trampoline how would i go about doing it on the ground or off of something

  • @MrGman0909 The second half of the video explains how to do it on the ground; all you need is a good run up and jump, then it's just about transferring what you learnt on the tramp. Again, exactly the same off of something, you just gotta lean forward slightly more so you move away from the object.

  • thanks for the tips inthe video, i will soon learn it very good on ground

  • thanks man this helped so much haha i would always land on my ass before

  • hi i can do a frontflip on the trampoline, a front handspring, and a one-handed front handspring, does this mean i have a goood chance of not hurting myself on a frontflip. im just scared to do it. please respond. thaaanks(: btw good tutorail !

  • thanks dude ill give it ago :D

  • the dive tuck thing was so beast

  • great tut bro ! :D

  • you usually land frontflips with your hands down by your side!

  • by the way... can you make a front layout tutorial. i cant do a simple frontflip layout but when i twist i do layouts. can you help me?

  • I might do, but do you mean for trampoline? Cos I can't do them that great on floor

  • i cant manage to land on my feet! i allways land on my back and it hurts like hell! i guess i just got to practice more...

  • good tut

  • your jump for the runner needs too be much longer

  • But thats how big my garden is!

Obviously a longer run up will make you go higher, but I'm landing stood up and thats good enough for me.

  • i can do frontflips farely well but i also pull my shoulders to the side resulting in a little twist at the end, on trampoline and ground. can you help me? because i dont think i could try a double frontflip because im already twisted and yer... :(

  • It's probably just habit, just practice doing front flips to backdrop but staying straight

  • lolz i can do this

  • nice tut, i like this move but it is deffinately easier on sprung floor

  • nice! now i know whats wrong with my frontflip

  • Angry music, Nathan, Angry music XD xx

  • This music is not angry, its just got a nice beat and its got some pretty funny lyrics.

  • Disagree :) nice flippy thing though....see you on monday :)xx

  • Nice tutorial! 5***** Thanks.

  • Again, a good tutorial.

I think I'll try to improve the swing with the arms in my frontflip.

    Anyways, thumbs up!

    grtz

  • Nice tutorial.

Can you do a standing front on the ground yet? What about pikes, layouts, halfs, fulls, etc?

  • I can standing front, but I always land squatted down low.

I can only do standing pike and half; but i can do all of the moves you just suggested in tumbling

  • Good tutorial!

  • woahh sick jasp but not on the floor for me lol!

  • Fair enough! Stick to your strengths I suppose

  • whats the blocking technique? and i can frontflip but not do the jumping forward roll lols not a pre-requisite for all but yeh .. kool

  • Take another look at 2:19, if you take off with your feet forwards from the rest of your body, you will go up much more. It basically just means going high and short, rather than long and low, 2:41 is the three best ways to make sure you get height.

  • Ahh no im not saying i cant... im saying i can frontflip easily but im just saying that i didnt have to jump forward roll before trying frontflip... :)

  • Well, you trickers are always taking shortcuts lol, if it works for you fine, but there is no way that any gymnastics coach would teach a front tuck before a stretched forward roll. Arched dive forward roll is different, because its a different technique and in some ways more difficult than a normal frontflip.

  • ok well, cool tutorials anywayzz...

  • first one great tutorial man
