  • The guitars remind me of Radiohead. Not complaining though. This song is eerie. I love it.

  • check out that cadence

  • @ShaolinPete the one at the end? haha

  • Radioheadish.

  • There are too many great songs on this album for me to choose a favorite...Thrice is amazing.

  • Album of the year.

  • Anyone think u can cover this song? Can't find the tabs anywhere >.<

  • "wanting flames and our powder kegs met"

    fix that please

  • "But we sank shortly after our riot

Wanton flame and our power kegs met

While I swam for my life there came voices aloft

    Joyful, unearthly, and dread"

    i think he says

"wanting flame and our powder kegs met"

    yeah that makes sense

  • You are listening to a Vagrant records advanced promotional stream.

  • The vocal harmonies and melodies on this CD are really reminding me of Muse.

  • I can see where you can hear that in this song. Not so sure about the other songs though.

  • @kosephdrums I aagree with that. In this song I do see it, but not in the others.

  • @Envee211 I don't really see the Muse influence in this song or the rest of the CD. However, Muse and Thrice are both awesome. Maybe I'll listen to Muse and then switch to this Thrice song and see if I can hear it.

  • @Envee211 That, good sir, is because Muse is amazing.

  • I hear this was a cover. Who did it first?

  • Dustin's got one thing right for sure... Love like that is a mystery...

Dustin has alot of other stuff right too, though :)

  • radiohead and thrice are two of my top favorite bands, and dustin does NOT sound like thom yorke. at all. not even in this song.

  • I think the melodies he choose and the way he holds his notes bare a slight resemblance to Radiohead, but his voice itself sounds nothing like Thom Yorke.

  • "We mutinied and sentenced our captain to die" is the correct lyric... if it matters...

  • new radiohead song? :D

  • what..

  • it's called sar-ca-sm =)

the songs sounds like radiohead =)

    cheers!

  • poor way of displaying sarcasm

  • "We mutinied and sentenced our captain to die"

    instead of

"You needed sense in to stop captain to die"

  • I´m sorry, but that doesn´t sound right, speacially because he REALLY says stop.

  • No he really says "We mutinied and sentenced our captain to die", listened to it again, he doesnt say stop at all. And he starts with We, not you. He just says mutinied really fast

  • It's definitely

"We mutinied and sentenced our captain to die"

That's what the song is about. They mutinied and the captain saved one of the crew members lives who tried to kill him. Most likely an allusion to christ. But yeah change that. Coolmanxl had the right lyrics. I mean just listen to it. You can definitely hear him say sentenced.

  • I think you guys are all wrong. Lol. I'll change once somebody shows me official lyrics saying so. =D

  • Whatever. We'll wait to see if Thrice posts it on their website, but trust me it is definitely "we mutinied and sentenced our captain to die". Just listen to it hard. That's what he says. And plus that's the only thing that makes sense with the story.

  • ok ok ok. Changed it. lol.

  • Tomorrow? Fknawsome.

  • im stoked for tomorrow when this comes out

  • awesome song
