This and the dodo parasite would be the scariest creatures for me. Also, for mythical creatures, I think it mentioned a resemblance to the aye-aye somewhere. So, it could have got mixed up with it and started all of the aye-aye controversy.

@7guineapigs4life I think it's the Hopkinsville Goblin (despite the comments below!) But seriously they match up! The apperance, the aggression the HPG has the ability to glow (probably via force field) and this one can change colour and to top it off they have a certain level of resistance to gunshots!

It's possible that when the camouflage beast came through the anomaly, it was just a tottler. Therefor, it is possible that 14 years later, the Camouflage Beast wasn't fullgrown yet.

We don't know how old this creature is, so we can't say how big its young are.

In Primeval the Egyptian demon Ammut is said to be based on the Pristichampsus. Maybe the myths and legends of Gremlins are said to be based on this creature.
