because nvidia recommends 450w psu, doesn't mean that the gpu itself uses 450w of power. a gtx460 tops out at about 150w actually, nvidia just recommend 450w+ psus to make sure youve got adequate power for the rest of your build

Core i7-2600 @ 3,8Ghz and GTX460, Furmark&Cinebench&Intel stresstool&HDtune&CrystalSiskM­ark maxing the system and I measured 320Watts and the outlet(so screen not included). I have a 620 watt Corsair so more than enough headroom for a second one(another 150-180 watts typical). I could have made due with a good 450watt supply if I weren't planning on SLI.

I have pretty much the same setup, except I have the haf 932 except the haf x, and my 460s aren't next 2 each other like in this video (I use 1 - 3 slots) I can max out metro 2033 with dx11 and get pretty good framerates (unless I look those poorly optimized particle effects). my gpu's NEVER go over 70C in a 65-75F room.
