Eminem's production would be alright for 50 or G-Unit. But he had no place in producing a Pac album.

I was really into "Until The End Of Time", "Better Dayz", and "Loyal to the Game"......until I heard the originals...then I said fuck the albums, thank god for the OGs. Every posthomous 2Pac album would no doubt be classic if they just used the OGs (the way Pac meant for it to sound) instead of fucking with legendary music, that a lot of people will probably never hear, sadly.

There are a select few songs that are better in their remixed versions, but generally the producers they pick aren't on 2Pac's level and their remixes try to modernise his music when the whole point was that Pac lived and died in the 90s. As a result it backfires and most posthumous releases have been diminishing returns.

In the song N.I.G.G.A. on Loyal to the Game, they manipulate Pac's words, making him say "I packed a nine last year, in '99 I'm packin' 2 now"......when the original lyrics are "I packed a nine last year, in '93 I'm packin' 2 now". And yeah, I really like some of the remixes like, Ghetto Star, World Wide Mob Figgaz (I like the OG more, but the remix is dope), and Thug N U Thug N Me.

The thing is Eminem is a perfectly talented rapper but he's not on par with 2Pac, no one currently living is. And the fact that they do this, and add bullshit modern rappers to 2Pac's songs are the reason why they don't sell.

It was actually Pacs mom, Afeni and Amaru Records who decided to remix the tracks. And it's a lot more complex than that. Since 97, labels have been requesting a higher percentage for samples. So to save money, they pay producers to remix it with new, original beats. But yeah, the remixs don't stack up to the original, unless the OG producer remixed it.
