John Singer Sargent is just my most favorite artist. Part realist & part impressionist. The mix just makes the most breathtaking paintings. I love the way he paints light...but truly, his portraits are soooo amazing. I just stare into the faces & try to read their minds & get a glimpse of who they were. I have always loved doing portraits more than anything else, myself...because I think there is nothing as beautiful & mysterious as a person's face. This video is amazing. Wonderful music too! :)

This is great, thanks for posting! FYI, the Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown is featuring an exhibit on John Singer Sargent: "Portraits in Praise of Women" now through Dec 31, 2010.

si, pero yo creia que era de Carolus mujer morena camison rosa, tambien de me coló en el de Sorolla uno de Sargent, el video "Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida 1ºparte" 2:27minutos, esas pinceladas son iguales de Sorolla, no conocia a Laszlo, otro que investigar, gracias
