went to see Mickey in concert in Jan. at the Belterra and it was like walking into a Room Full Of Roses He made The World Go Away when I got to go back stage and he Talk To Me. He's Pulling Me Back Again can't wait to go and see him in Branson so he can take me To Paradise. That's All That Matters to me. He was so nice and down to earth but I still feel like it was all a dream. So until I get to Branson and he Stand By Me I will just look out the Window Up Above at the City Lights. Get Well soon
I remember when I saw him as a little kid with my grandfather, one of the best shows I've ever been to and will ever go to. Wonderful person, wonderful artist!
I didn't know his Branson theatre had also burned down. That's not just deju vue. That's either suspicious or a case of incredibly bad luck. Being acquainted with Mickey, I would like to think the latter.
My husband and I just got back from Branson. This is the first show we went to. We were in the front row and Mickey sang this song to me! He is a very good looking guy!
I fell in love with Mickey Gilley when I watched "Urban Cowboy" and I collected about all of his tapes and saw him in concert 3 times, and joined his fan club which sent me an 8 x 10 autographed picture of him which I still have displayed. Mickey is awesome!!!
The Guitarist at 00:14 is Rocky Stone. He was a dear friend of mine. He died in 97 I think. Not too sure of the year. At the time I work at a little Potato Chip Company in Branson. He was a good friend of the owners and I became good friends with him. I'll miss Rocky Stone.
I saw this great artist in Branson on my first visit to the wonderfull mid west in 2002of the states, what a fantastic performance from such a talented performer,I must return someday Mel Warburton (United Kindom)
I almost cried when I saw him. I worked at Gilleys until it burned down in Branson. Then I worked at the nursing facility Rocky went to after his stroke. AWESOME GUY!!
