um, im sorry, but i thought a key componant in the civil war and in all wars which took place in the early years of muskets and single shot rifles was left out. next time, make them each have rows of 2, then the first row kneels and shoots, and then the second row steps forward kneels and shoots while the previously first row reloads and so on. just a little history brush up that would of made this look a bit better.

but i guess it was just a video for the map, not for the civil war

Not to try and be an asshole, but what you're describing there wasn't a civil war firing tactic either ;) 2 ranks yes. Front rank kneel- sometimes, especially early war if in threat of cavalry. Normal procedure had, upon the comman aim, the rear rank wouldstep their right foot forward and right, bringing their weapon between the heads of the men in front. Volley fire, firing by ranks, firing by files- all civil war "firing" styles. As someone has pointed out, this isnt civil war anyway.
