Another great thing that the phone LG Optimus 2X is coming to Straighttalk and it works as close to Samsung Galaxy S II plus equal to Samsung Nexus S and one of the Droid phones. I don't know how much it is but it's gonna be the best android and phone period for Straighttalk. Can't wait!!!!

The truth is that the samsung galaxy s2 is better than the optimus 2x in most respects but what makes me prefer the Optimus 2x Nvidia Tegra processor is that I can run through the game that in GS2 I can not!!

Galaxy s2 does rewrap text. While in browser go to settings check auto-fit pages. Now double tap or pinch to zoom. Walla rewraps text. Ps. I don't even own this phone but in Sept I will. Stupid Samsung.

Its the software which sucks. By just using a custom home, the laggs goes away. I havent tried the custom roms yet, but judging by videos and feedback it will be extremely smooth. You can also fix the camera, which has bad programming.

A lot of the people that say they have tried LG Optimus 2X says that it's overall laggy even with custom home screens because of poor optimiziation towards Dual Core (HomeScreen doesn't change more then the looks, lag in Calendar etc is all LG).

Extremely smooth is doubtable, my SGS i9000 stock is far smoother then LG Optimus 2X, it might get better with custom homescreens but so does the i9000.

Also, there are 2 new updates for O2X, one which optimizes the phone, making it faster, as well as a gingerbread update (which also works faster than 2.2). In my opinion, you get more for your money if you buy O2X. But if you have the money, and don't care that much, S2 all the way.

It's quite a difference as 1100NOK (~200$) is alot of money (in my opinion). Being a student, I went for the Optimus 2X, since it can do basically the same as SII, but costs ~200$ less (and it looks alot better) :>
