  • Still have my SNES!

  • "letsago!"

  • 101th comment :D

  • I love it :) !

  • @MegaM888 :D

  • Where's the SMA: SMW Overworld theme where you are not riding yoshi?

  • Is there a remix of it?

  • I like how they managed to stay pretty close to the original version, even with the sound chip of the Gameboy Advance not being as powerful as the SNES one.

  • The only thing bad about the advance series is those voice clips. I cant stand them. They are repetitive and annoying. Like i really need to hear "HOO HOO, JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!!!' every 5 seconds, -_-

  • @TheAmazingZdog There is an easy to avoid those: avoid monster and destroy!!!!!

  • Does anyone know how to get to the remix of this? The remix sounds exactly like this, only it has rock and roll elements to it.

  • In my mind, this title has completely replaced my childhood memories of Super Mario World on the SNES. Don't get me wrong, I had fun with this game when I was a kid, but playing it on the GameBoy Advance with all of the fun little touch-ups not only adding to, but improving the nostalgia factor of the fun I had with this game, there's no way I can go back to a level 1 theme without the sound at 0:22, the medley remix at 0:33, or Mario screaming "Mama mia!" as he dies. This is true gaming.

  • this was the first game i ever played, when I was 7 years old, on my GBA :D This is so beautiful it could bring a tear to my eye.

  • It's great music, but I like the SNES one better.

  • its a horse apice. the music in the snes one is way crisper and clear. and the gba version is too easy. but its hard at the same time trying to play in a little dimly lit screen. i personally prefer the whole snes one cause i played it til 4th grade when mom threw my snes away for having shitty grades. then i had the gba version. now i grew up and dont play games and this is all nostalgic to me. so idk

  • I think 'Overworld Theme 1' is a great song. That's when you're in overworld one.

  • Memories with the GBA? HAHAHA kids.

  • no yoshi drums man come on

  • @BDarius213 Can you upload this song but with the Yoshi drums in it?

  • :3 This song beats all songs in the world

    :DDD

I sing it everyday at least once n,n

    <3

  • My first video game...

  • Brings back good ol' memories

  • this is like a 8 bit version

  • Holy shit, this sounds horrible compared to the original.

  • i love this game but its not challenging then the SNES version

  • So many memories of fighting over the GBA, then falling off of a cliff...

  • put mp3s in each GBA smw music.

  • You just walk casually through the level on Yoshi's back until...DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DA DUM!!!! And then the music speeds up as Mario and Yoshi rush to the end killing every Goomba, Koopa and Hammer Bro in the way

  • i love this game!

  • @simonlee000 A longing for the past.

  • I STILL HAVE THIS GAME!!!

  • I know imma get rated down for this but dont care. from 0:00 to 0:06 i think of santa claus for some unknown reason.

  • @toddmilhouse Prob cause he threw hammers at yah from flying bricks with wings :P

  • Snes version is better to me. Well the music and palate. It's more retro.

  • hey umm bdarius213 can u upload the music of the valley of bowser and the underground theme so i can download it to my psp thank

  • hey, did you upload the music from the princess Toadstool screen?

  • Some people think this is same as snes version and it's not!

In my opinion, this version seems easier. Probably 'cus gba was targeted for kids too. Just to make it less frustrating for the little guys.......unless they can handle the snes one. The gba couldve been made just to be portable......uuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm...

  • The GBA can't match SNES on sound.

  • @AmericanVideoGames Yay beacuse on GBA you can't with SUPER POWER

  • 当時のことを思い出す

  • anyone know how to play this on piano simply? no sheet music, just the simple theme on piano?

  • I can't find the Forest of Illusion GBA anywhere!!

  • Good memories. ^^

  • i used to have this game but i traded it! D:

i still have super mario advance 1 though! :D

  • i have super mario advance 4 and bought the rest for the virtual console and they are better but just as great

  • "HOO HOO, JUST WHAT I NEEDED!"

  • @kronephoros hahahah Luigi will be saying this when he picks a power up: LOLOLOLOLOL JUST WHAT U NEEDED MARIO!

  • @kronephoros ha ha just what i needed

  • Only Link To The Past, Yoshi's Island and Rock and Roll Racing ports sounds extremly close to thier SNES Versions. This game the music is way to high pitched throught out the game athough it uses the same instruments as SNES..

  • Yeah, it is too high pitched. SNES sounds better.

  • me and my friend found a ds lying in the street with this game in the gba slot and some game called touch master in the ds slot and he took the mario game and sold it but i wanted to keep it lol

  • @flimflabber

    LOL!!!

was it a original DS, DS lite or DSi?

  • @Alantgv

it was a white ds lite

  • probably because it requires much consuming power with the GBA's music. Underground theme in SMB2 GBA version is absolutely the worst.

at 0:23 there's a sound effect, almost like something's been selected on the pause screen, LOL

  • What do you mean underground SMB2 GBA is the worst??!! On the contrary, it is the BEST! So Phooey!!

  • The song lost a lot of quality compaired to the SNES version

  • I don't know why, but the SNES version always sounded different than the GBA version. Were any changes made to the music in the transfer?

  • the only thing diffrent really is luigi's sprite

  • Poor yoshi......

  • man good times. i played this game all the time on my GBA but sadly i lost it...

  • i didnt i have 2 copys i can send u 1 if u give me ur adress and all that

  • but i dont have a GBA emulator...

  • do u have a gba im talkin about not a emulator

  • ohhh i thought u ment the emulator. no i dont sadly..

  • Can you do e-reader levels on this game?

  • in my opinon mario advance is better. I mean this is a good game but something about mario advance nostalgia takes my vote :)

  • but you need to go back and look at the masterpiece on the snes. because playing with that snes controller gives you the 'classic' feeling. I'm not interfering with your opinion or anything.

  • Me too!

  • @trippinthesaiyan

i say its SMBW but portable.

  • @trippinthesaiyan Just because you wasn't even born yet when Super Mario World on the SNES was out?

  • @OKStudios no just because people like you doesn't let go of the past and hate the fact that an old game changes.

  • @trippinthesaiyan

You played the SNES version late or what? :P

  • I've still got this game. I can only play it on my DS cause "someone" threw my GBA out the window!

  • this is like the one for the SNES

  • actually

    Chew that

I like this version better but the snes was funner

  • snes is bettter in my opinion

  • i love this themes go the classicnemo and open

  • When I bought my Game Boy Advance SP this was my first GBA that I got but later on I got the SNES version. I don't know why but I like the GBA version of the overworld theme 1 better than the SNES version. The thing I liked about the GBA version was the only way to unlock the true ending of the game was to collect all the Yoshi coins in every level. The SNES and the GBA versions are a little bit different.

  • actualy have Snes Better Music sound

  • snes version is not the same

  • thats a nice pic of yoshi. also i had never noticed how low the bass got on this song until now.

  • Ahhh yes...old school GBA style games. So many memories! The GBA is unforgettable.

  • some did but this did not

the snes brings ack memories though

  • No. The GBA brings back memories too. That's because I grew up with the GBA, so it feels more precious to me.

You grew up with the SNES so it feels more important to you than the GBA. We're all different.

  • i mean some gba brings back memories

    like yoshi topsy turvy

  • no Sonic Advance does

  • Can you upload the Bowser theme of this please?

  • good ol times

  • i missed this game

  • hey BDarius231 can you upload the starman theme of this?

  • I'll try. =)

  • i agree with MarioLuigi25

  • Thanks for uploading the GBA version of Super Mario World music!! I thought I would never be able to listen to these!!!!

  • Anytime. =)
