One girl entered one of these contests and drank 8gallons of water then died in her sleep because of abrupt renal failure. Basically, her kidneys fainted while trying to filter 8 full gallons of water.

I found out later that you can actually DIE from ingesting too much water.. fun stuff? i think not:o its called water saturation or somthing..Scary
