I am distraught about the Donkey Kong Jungle Beat remake for the Wii... The Gamecube version with the DK bongos was a much better experience... Thankfully, I still have my DKJB for my Gamecube (had it since April of 2005...).

This is completely different than the gamecube version. Its should just be new controls. None of this heart bullshit. Also the levels are changed alot with new pits and stuff added and also alot more annoying sound effects. Just keep it as it was but with new controls!

A lot of this just looks cheaply made. It's like they figured "Whelp, we aren't dealing with SNES limitations anymore, so we don't have to try as hard to make environments as detailed", so they just slapped together something really quick. If you compare it to the country series, you'll notice a lot is going on in the environments, and that they really tried hard to make up for what limitations they had back in the day.
