  • fcking rofl!!!! 0:54

  • I joined the Corps back in 1994, got out in 2008. The marching cadence of the Marine Corps needs no explanation. Its Sharp and Crisp, its a language only USMC recruits can understand. Semper Fi to all Marines who earned the title!!!

    Sgt R USMC

    1994-2008

  • @frankstuiver

    These are our Marines buddy...

  • hahaah 0:54 paadaaapaaaammm!!!!!!!

but, but, but, very much respect for the amry of the USA

  • why as Americans speak English so it was hard to understand?

  • @amerykanin2010 he's not speaking actual words he is "singing" a cadence directing the march

  • 1:08 that roadguard has never been closer to death in his entire life...

  • Yep, memories, all i have to say now is bah fah gooo fah, braht grahht do dah.

That fucking drill sargent is a serious sack of high school football coach shit.

  • if you dont know what I'm talking about then you were probably part of the softer era

  • 52 people used to stomp the heels like back in my day in '02 before bootcamp got a bit softer.

  • It looks like 52 people were drill waivers. Lol

  • damn this video brings back memories from 08. lol, Idk bout any other marine but I'd go back to Boot just for fun. haha

  • Drive that bus! Awesome.

  • 0:50

And then ther camera man shit his pants.

  • that turn at 0:51 is pristine

  • Comment removed

  • USMC road guards size themselves in? During BMT, we had to be 6 paces from the flight front and back.

  • My 13 weeks starts may 7th

  • i love how the road guard tries to squeeze back into position but ends up having to go around the drill instructor at 1:09. haha he must have learned the hard way never to walk between a drill instructor and the platoon.

  • Kind of makes me miss bootcamp

  • ma sei te canti!!! che stronzo!

  • Brings back memories for realz

  • Dam, takes me back.....Semper Fi!!

  • 1:07

    NOPE.

  • Derp ? lol.

  • Why are the guys with the red reflexjackets running around?

  • @Spongebobdaman Road guards...

  • @Spongebobdaman They are marching on the road, they road guards deal with traffic. On base cars are second fidle to units marching about.

  • @Spongebobdaman Road guards. they stop traffic so the platoon can cross roads

  • God Bless the JewSA

  • If the US Military could march without singing they wouldn`t loose so many troops in a fight.

In the british Army the only noice you will hear will be the Boots and the crack of hand on rifle stocks with the exeption of whoever is commanding the drill parade.

  • @jackiemcconnell If you had any military knowledge your comment wouldn't be so stupid.

  • @NegativePossibility

Actually I have 23yrs of service in the Army and have proudly served alongside several US Army units, most American Units are proud to serve alongside the British ARmy

  • @jackiemcconnell All I know is, we don't march in the Battlefield, if any Military does, they are idiots.

  • @jackiemcconnell Go practice on 4chan you wannabe troll. The US Armed Forces has the highest (Pardon the crude mannerism) K/D of any military force involved in wars on the Earth. The fucking English have a stick up their ass because they were beaten by militia 236 years ago when they possessed the strongest military on the face of the earth (at the time).

  • left right DUHDUHDUHD

  • 6 to the front 3 to the rear! Tight elbows! Flex your triceps! Lift your knees! O MCRD. Horrible memories.

  • @xCAUTIONZOMBIESx Come on...some good memories! How can you ever forget the magic words.....GET IN THE PIT!

  • i see no diff. from these peeps and regular peeps. give a chimp a gun an it's a soldier if u spend long enuff time trainin' it and manipulating it u got urself a trigger-happy kill-joy.

  • @Raspikeku Well you don't know the work and discipline instilled in soldiers because they aren't all just 'trigger-happy kill-joys'. Give a chimp a gun and train it all you want, it won't be like a real soldier.

  • So i guess the ones where the marching soldiers sing along aren't very popular?

  • i swear to god i seen and remember that fucking DI's voice when i went to mcrd back in december 2009...

  • I just recently graduated from san diego and this shit gets me hard. I love marching and cadences.

  • 0:50 - By the left flank.. march

0:54 - By the right flank. march

    1:02 - Left oblique, MARCH

    1:09 foward march

  • @wiggleMYniblets it's actually sand Diego I think

  • Lol this is military talk. if you wanna know what hes saying go to Parris island. even if you dont wanna know what hes saying...you should still go because Marines is the most honorable job out there.

  • you people act like we are the only people to show brutality on the battlefield, yeah remember nanking

  • The most beautiful sound in the world.

  • Good God! Those buildings....its MCRD SAN DIEGO! OH god...FLASH BACKS..FLASH BACKS...OF SGT. POPE!

  • @strongbrave OMG! Is this ... man ... allowed to carry a gun? Is he the guy who trains the Marines to urinate on dead enemies bodies?

  • @TheCentralServices they deseve it

  • @skaterzero21 The honky?

  • @skaterzero21 to piss on the enemy dead bodies?

  • @TheCentralServices wtf is wrong with you...to categorize the entire marine corp on an unfortunate event of a couple men is foolish and idiotic thing to do. Just like naming all chrisitans conservitive finatics or all muslim terrorist....its not right. think before you speak

  • @DubGaymer UNFORTUNATE?! Do you really think fortune played a role? Or was it perhaps Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich (btw translates as the tartar or rage-man into German) and his bunch, who contributed to prepare the grounds? It is quite telling, that these "events" are not committed by single persons, but entire groups of marines. On top of that, most other marines seem to be closer to these criminals, than to justice and the law by not reporting these events and covering stuff up!

  • @TheCentralServices well first, how someones name translates is a shit way to judge them. two, these marines are in the shit over there, there buddies are being blown away right next to them. they know that if they are captured their fate is much much worse than just being pee'd on. they are on a constant state of alert and scared for their lives. put anyone in this position and they will act out in innapropriate ways. This is the sacrifices armed services make for you so you can be free.

  • @TheCentralServices

No, I trained them to make headshots to create dead bodies. If they so choose to urinate on their target, SO WHAT! Yea...i am allowed to carry a gun. Imagine that when we meet one day.

  • @strongbrave So you are responsible for the strangest cacophony of noises we have ever heard come out of someone' mouth. As if that wouldn't be enough already, you brute are also urinating and stomping on the graves of your forefathers and values they fought and died for!

And you, you have the audacity to threaten a free citizen, the hand that feeds you, with death? You should be immediately electronically tagged and permanently removed from society!

  • @TheCentralServices Someday, I hope to have the opportunity to urinate on you.

Please note, the Drill Instructor sings a cadence, this is not a cacaphony of noises. But, to the average everyday civilian puke such as yourself, ignorance of course is bliss.

  • Comment removed

  • It's left face and right face

  • @vinniej840 it's flank not face. left and right face are stationary commands. left and right flank are marching commands

  • its like hes speaking in short hand.

  • Haha "I wish I knew what he was saying" civilians crack me up

  • @bagobread The military underclass is truly amusing!

  • @bagobread hahaha

  • HAHAH 0:54

  • @sarahooxo when are you shipping out? and do you know where too? haha, Sorry Im not to familiar with the British Army's basic training program.

  • @Mrain56

over here we have to do a test called the barb test which tests you to see what jobs your qualified to do then you have to do selection and if you pass that you qualify for training .....for infantry training which im going to do ...you go to a training centre called " ITC CATTERICK" and whilst here you do 26 weeks basic training then after that you get to pick whhat you want to specialise in i have to wait 2 months to do selecion lol

  • @sarahooxo 26 week basic? damn that's gonna suck, haha. Is Catterick the training area for Infantry over in England? outta curiosity?

  • @Mrain56

yea catterick is in england ill havee to go over there....im from Northern Ireland (part of the uk) so im going to join the royal irish regiment i cant wait ....your in the army arent you?

  • @sarahooxo yep, 5 years now, fun fun fun. dont worry to much about Basic, its gonna suck but you'll get used to it in about a week or 2, and it'll go by quick. and no prob with the account name, haha. im married i know how it is

  • @Mrain56

what age are you mate? ....im only 18 lol what age did you join up? ...i know its women for yaa lol

  • @sarahooxo joined when i was 20, seen 3 deployments since then.

  • @Mrain56

arite awesome ...have you ever worked with the brits

  • @sarahooxo yeah, sometimes I've done work with some Scout sections, Warrior IFV's. but not a whole lot, its mainly just the ANA troops. training them how to do simple "army stuff" and what not.

  • @Mrain56

awesome ...id love to see yank army in real life ...theyre cool as hell lol

  • @sarahooxo maybe you will one day. NATO does alot of training exercises together. but, good luck with you army adventure, and stay safe.

  • @Mrain56

    thanks mate ...you too

  • The men with the orange vests are "road guards." They run ahead of the platoon to keep traffic at a safe distance from the marching recruits. This video brings back memories of my time in book camp at Paris Island. There was a DI there who had a melodious voice that still haunts me. He could call cadence better than anyone I knew. I looked my senior DI when I was 57 years old and we had a great talk. I was the only recruit he had who bothered to contact him. He was a great Marine.

  • why was that dude in the orange running around??

  • @TrueSouthernPride Road guards....they stop traffic, so the platoon doesn't have to.

  • @TrueSouthernPride He would have gotten his ass handed to him getting in between a Drill Instructor and his recruits.

  • this is not the army...

  • sounds good only if i knew wat he was saying...

  • its nice they allow retards to train the army now

  • @eimaialani not the army

  • They're Phase 3 going to the Museum huh?

  • i sounds good only if i knew wat he was saying

  • DERP DERP DURP DURP!!!

  • @nocotufahead That comment made me laugh...

    so fucking hard....

  • my dog sounds like that when he's scared :L

  • that be so hard not to laugh HAHa at 0:47

  • he honestly sounds retarded hehe.

  • 0:47-1:00 is the strangest cacophony of noises I have ever heard come out of someone' mouth.

  • @iloveihop07 Obvious civvy...

  • @iloveihop07 he was saying "by the left flank.....march" and then "by the right flank....march"

  • @iloveihop07 LMAO Its a Marine thing you wouldnt understand OOORAH SEMPER FI DO OR DIE

  • @iloveihop07 "by the left flank" and "by the right flank" and "to the rear" are all marching commands that he shouting out and you apparently don't know. The DI sounds weird aft a while after a lot of ass chewing over the new recruits

  • huuoooo haaaa duuoooo daaaa duu duu

  • haha good catch crossing guard... never walk between a DI and his platoon. or anyone leading a platoon for that matter. I bet he about shit himself.

  • @atfranklin holy shit i never noticed that before! good eye mate

  • column left, column right, half step right...

  • beautiful

  • what is he saying??? i know hes saying left right and then what??

  • @juliandrk510

    Left right Lo-Right.

  • The random shit he's yelling is to keep them in step.. for you civilians who don't know what hes saying.

  • haha....he sounds deaf

  • GET THE F*** OFF MY PARADE DECK GET OFF MY PARADE DECK YOU DISGUSTING RECRUITS MIGHT AS WELL CUFF YOUR GODDAMN TROUSERS YOU DISGUSTING GARBAGE. EMBARRASS ME LIKE YOU DID DURING INITIAL DRILL. I DARE YOU

  • :54 WTF he sounds like he should be in the special needs class

  • @SirGratzkul what plt. were you with in boot cause that looks like Ssgt. Magdalano my SDI

  • Drive that bus!

  • That road guard at 1:08 saved his own ass by not going inbetween the DI and the platoon.

  • HOW CUTE c(^.^c) look at their itty bitty feets :D happy feet teehee <3

  • This ones for irritated bear, trust me, being in MCRD with your SDI or one of your DI's living with you for 3 months you learn pretty damn quick what they are saying. If you don't, better hope you got good stamina and a spine your gonna get It'd or Grilled. Maybe even both. But man, I miss those days. Even if we were nothing but a pile of shit to the D.I's.

  • haha, fuckin marines... like a glove.

  • Damn civilians.... You don't rate being on our parade deck.

  • @DeionSC2 So funny he jumped back pretty quick !

  • Bahaha, that was my platoon back in 06. Here's what the DI is saying for those of you who can't understand him. Road Guards! Platoon responds, POST! Next command was collumn half left, more left right lo rights, by the left flank, 'arch (otherwise known as march) by the right flank, 'arch. more left right lo rights, left oblique, forward 'arch, more lo rights and so on.

  • @SirGratzkul - Who was your DI (the one drilling)? He looks familiar.

  • @woodnutz78 Sgt Mora at the time. He was a SSgt when I saw him in 08 on Camp Pendleton. Not sure if the spelling is correct.

  • @SirGratzkul - Nah... wrong dude. Was only a quick look, though. My cousin was a DI/SDI for a while there at the SD Depot. Woodruff. Seeing these videos sure brings back some memories. I was pounding that parade deck in the summer of 1999.

  • damn. nuff said

  • Road guard POST! :45 lol

  • how the fuck they understand that

  • @IrritatedBear They just do, I went to Mini Bootcamp for 3 days and well, you'll understand them pretty fast.

  • thats the most beutiful voice iv'e ever heard :,)

  • @CAP978 he would lose his voice after 15minutes of yelling. but all the D.I.'s agreed his cadence was the best.

  • i have a question. why do the marines have those suits on?

  • @xxPithius10n1xx its their camo duh

  • Can't understand him. lol

  • LEFT OBLIQUE! SMALL ANGLES!

  • I dont understand anything the drill instructor is saying....

  • Comment removed

  • i can't wait to be one of those marines

  • GANG WAY THIRD PHASE!

  • Damn proud of all who served but how the hell do you understand the instructor? I listened at least five times and it still sounds like he's just spittin syllables out.

  • @shitismful Bhahahaha so did I, i heard GETDMSNANJEGFIWE THE RED FLAG...?

  • @shitismful They scream at you or thrash you until you can decode it. Only takes about a week for understanding, getting that many people to have their timing down is longer. That leads to trips to the sand.

  • @shitismful In person, it's more clear. Also, they don't really say "Left-right" as much as they say "lo-hot", "lay-raht", "Lef-hrot", or similar. Phonetically, my drill instructor sang a cadence that sounded like, "Lo hot yer lef rot-a low rot." Parris Island DIs sing differently than MCRD DIs, too. Much of the fun of cadence is hearing it echo off of buildings in the distance. Can't really hear that as well in this video.

  • @Shmey I have no doubt that it's more clear in person. Someone also mentioned that one learns to understand it over time. Each DI has their own distinct call. Joining the Marines would be one thing I would do if I could do life over again. I can make out right face or flank and left face or flank, but I can't make out the few words before that or the words after left, right. Sounds like Left, right ho lo.

  • That flank sucked, to be honest

  • This was my platoon back in 2006 lol I can't believe they posted this shit... i remember them filming this. fuck these were the good days!!!

  • semper fi

  • sounds beautiful that drill, alot different from the British version i'd prefer this drill to the shitty drill the U.K has

  • Lol, I thought the entire squad was gonna run down the camera man. Not a single step missed. God bless the Marines (and all of the US armed forced)

  • BLAHHHHHHH! thats all i heard..

  • This shit still gives me chills.

  • The marines look good when they march.

  • Whats the name of this cadence?

  • @jerkface1990 Its just how the instructor calls cadence.

  • @jerkface1990 "if you fuck up ill stomp your asshole in".

  • GO NAVY!

  • Happy Birthday and Happy Veterans Day to remember those that fell.

I love the singing the DI's would do, in which there were no resemblance to words but you could drill to it.

  • I wish I could do 3 months of boot camp again. I need some of that in my life right now.

  • oohrah . HAPPPY BIRTHDAY DEVIL DOGS
