Making Recovery a Reality

It really irritates me that they speak of women survivors and women that. This should be a habitat for survivors, not woman survivors. I realise that statistically there are more females than males that are victims of sexual abuse, but there are men out there. And not having a place for them only increases their silence. I am a girl who has been abused. It really bothers me how little we focus on the men,as they go through the same hell we go through.
