Flynn looks life Alf from Arc Rise Fantasia in this picture.
He reminds me of him too. Being the best friend of the main character, fighting him, not being in your party for the entire game, and both having to do with the royal part of the population. Alf was a prince, and Flynn is a knight. They also both wear blue armor and have blonde hair. :O
