wow! great inperational music! I was 15 yrs. old when I first heard this one on AM 1190 wowo in Ft. wayne, IN. Didn't seem to be on the charts very long though. It would be a great song to re- chart for the way things are going nowdays .
@Schamelon I used to listen to WOWO 1190 Fort Wayne all the way down here in Mississippi at night. 50, 000 watt blowtorch. Several years ago the owners dropped the power down to 9,000 watts at night so a New York station could get a power increase. The might 1190 is now just a memory. At least to long distant listeners. There are some AM stereo clips from the early 80's someone recorded off the air. Amazing how good an AM station can sound in stereo when properly set up.
Geez, this song is glorious perfection. That piano breaking through is...., well, YEAH. The backing vocalists are just simply fabulous beyond all measure. This is no doubt one of the greatest songs/recordings of all time. It will just stand the test of time. The lead vocalist is unreal. Beautiful....
Reminds me of a girl I went out with in 1975, I remember she had this album, her name was Michelle, took her to see Chicago concert in seattle that same year.
Yes it was great times....WBMX...WGCI...WVON....back in the day we was so happy.
