  • WHAT ABOUT LIES?

  • what about GE?

  • what about cmia.net/

  • thee world is thinking he is an idiot

  • What we need is more co2 and less radioactive fallout. How come all the real deadly poisons are getting out but everyone talks about Co2??? It's as crazy as it gets.

  • i thought it was global warming ,ya dickheads ,and guess what when i here Australians ,i just laugh ,bunch of wankers AMEN

  • Here are some quotes to prove my point that it is a religious cult and not a proper academic discipline. Ludwig von Mises wrote of his theory, "its statements and propositions are not derived from experience... They are not subject to verification or falsification on the ground of experience and facts." F.A. Hayek wrote that any theories in the social sciences can "never be verified or falsified by reference to facts." These people are nothing more the snake oil salesmen funded by rich pricks

  • The problem with the planet is the humans.

  • @MrBeautifulba1

No not really, I don't mean to say it like "IT'S SCIENCE" but it IS civilization that has made us like a blight upon this Earth. We by default are not bad. By default we are nothing more than animals that'll form tribes & find an equilibrium with our environment. Don't blame humanity, blame the greedy corrupt individuals that can't handle the power elected to them. Giving unlimited power to corporations is what's going to kill our dying planet...

  • I thought that sounded pretty legit

  • Give up it's over. We need to wait for the rapture now. Corporations will not allow change, so give up.

  • @robert9262 Actually that's not true at all. The biggest corporation are the ones behind this whole myth + the banks. They are the ones who stand to gain from this the most.

  • what scientific principle are you talking about?im not sure that you understand what i wrote

  • the world has not gotten warmer very much, but the amount of sulfur in air has increased dramatically. thats' the important thing.

  • Soylent green is people! It's made out of people!!!!

    (...and it's delicious!)

  • global warming deniers, 9/11 truthers, creationist, homeopaths, growing earthers, IDiots, austrian economic nuts, and just plain retards need to shut the fuck up.

I get tired of science haters.

  • @thesparitan how can you lump austrian economics in with that group, talk about a science hater ... kettle meet pot.

  • @LeGioNoFZioN They all dislike science. Just look at what they say about social sciences. Austrian economics believe in deductive logic, not using the empirical methods to find truths. Don't like it, to bad its what they believe. "kettle meet pot."

I cannot help the fact that you are ignorant.

  • @thesparitan please reveal the brilliance of your rubics cube of a mind, how does Austrian economic school of thought disparriage science ? if its anything, its the more sound schoool of thought in economics. As for empirical methods vs deductive logic, if you applied that to global warming, you would find yourself logically in the Bjorn Lomborg angle of debate as opposed to embracing an argument and using language to denigrate opponents.

  • @LeGioNoFZioN "please reveal the brilliance of your rubics cube of a mind, how does Austrian economic school of thought disparriage science ?"

Simple, Praxeology. They believe that empirical methodological naturalism cannot explain economics so they only believe you should use a extreme form of deductive reasoning. The also believe that you cannot use mathematical models, they also make unfalsifiable claims all which is highly unscientific and show a dislike for science.

  • @thesparitan they only believe that because so far all of humanity has failed to develop an economic theory that can take into account the millions of decisions based on the needs and desires of millions of people, if anything that isn't unscientific, its accepting of reality. how do you develop a model that can ? so far no one has been capable, giving the austrian line of reasoning more empirical support than anything else. you want multinational banks to rob countries and people ?

  • @LeGioNoFZioN first while it is true that economics as a whole is vastly more unpredictable and complex then say astronomy, its unpredictability can be quantified and if it can be quantified it can be modeled. Second models and scientific theories are falsifiable and therefore can be corrected, austrian ideas cannot.

Science is really the ability to minimize human bias and errors. Its the best tool for achieving knowledge, praxeology is magical thinking.

  • @thesparitan the hurbis of humanity to think all it understands is all there is to know, and the end of all reasoning or further debate on any given topic. Science is not a religion, and should not be dealt with as such. Science should be continually challenged to ensure the most accurate results-findings-conclusions. Maligning those who challenge any area in science is the work of zealot inquisitors of centuries past, not people who respect the scientific method.

  • @LeGioNoFZioN "the hurbis of humanity to think all it understands is all there is to know, and the end of all reasoning or further debate on any given topic. Science is not a religion"

science is not a religion because it can be wrong, and thats the point. Science is not perfect but that imperfection is what makes it the ultimate tool for properly understanding how the world works and why. All those groups not only reject the vast evidence but also use bad logic and reasoning in doing so.

  • @thesparitan when it comes to understanding economics, if the austrian school of thought were so unscientific, then why have some of the best advocates been given Nobel prizes ? you may think Austrian economics is short sighted, and in some ways it can be, but the same can be said of the current keynesian influenced model used worldwide leading to economic mayhem. IDers challenge the status quo, and only help to strengthen the view of the big bang and evolution so I don't get your position

  • @LeGioNoFZioN Last point, this statement you made is,and forgive the rude phrasing, but its rather stupid "IDers challenge the status quo, and only help to strengthen the view of the big bang and evolution so I don't get your position"

No they don't strengthen the view of evolution and big bang, they undermine it. If they were practicing science then yes that would be true, but what they are doing is trying to roll back scientific progress.Trying to Teach bullshit isn't helping science

  • @thesparitan well I will put it to you this way, the initial claims ID proponents made, were enough for someone like me who didn't care initially to look into it. as a result I learned through listening to them and their arguments, as well as listening to the other side that they were full of ish. But if I hadn't done the legwork myself to investigate both sides, I would have erred on their side because to a lay person some of their arguments are convincing.

  • @LeGioNoFZioN Your personal experience of dealing with ID doesn't change the fact that the discovery institute has tried to get "of pandas and people" into classrooms bypassing the peer reviewed process that all other theories must go through. And during the dover trial the IDiots even said that the definition of science should be expanded to include things like homeopathy and astrology. For all the good they might be doing, they are a net negative to science and critical thinking.

  • @thesparitan I simply disagree. I am skeptical of almost everything I hear and see whether it is online, in a paper or magazine, it doesn't matter. I welcome challenges always, because today might just be the day I am wrong and can learn something. People who believe something because a researcher or scientist thinks they have made a case for it, are as bad as people who won't believe something no matter how much evidence you provide.

  • @LeGioNoFZioN "People who believe something because a researcher or scientist thinks they have made a case for it, are as bad as people who won't believe something no matter how much evidence you provide."

The first part shows a misunderstanding of how science works, but everything else I agree with. I think your problem is just that you lack a very strong foundation of scientific understanding, but other then that your thinking is similar to mine. Reasonable skepticism is a good thing.

  • @thesparitan lol...science haters. You shut up. Is name calling is all you have?

    I love science BTW.

  • @MustacheVerra Im sure you don't. I just start facts. If you are in anyone of these categories then you are by definition a science hater, or just amazingly ignorant.

  • @thesparitan You are brainwash climate alarmist. You listen to the main stream media and they tell you to be scared and so you are. You're a tool. lol..

  • "People like it a little warmer, don't they? I mean, am i crazy here?" - Larry David

  • I only hope that the "solutions" implemented will not be worse than the climate change problem itself. Socialism? Climate engineering that backfires and pollutes or screws things up in some other way?

"We have met the enemy, and he is us." Pogo

  • @freesk8 well said. I share the same hope

  • Is weather modification considered climate change?

  • The question is not whether "We can be optimistic about climate change", the question is "Should we be optimistic about climate change."

  • Why do camera guys always pan to random people in the audience? Do they think we'd give a shit? Did those people even agree to be filmed?

  • Guess Tim didn't hear the news from "International Program on the State of the Ocean" our Earth's oceans face an imminent mass extinction of epic proportions because of pollution, overfishing, global warming, and CO2 ACIDIFICATION.

Ocean acidification is already up +30% the last 100 years because of dissolved CO2.

In 25 years @ CO2 levels of 450ppm oceanographers warn acidification may STOP the growth of CaCO3 forming corals & plankton at the base of our ocean's food chain.

    Otherwise, no problem

  • we overcame sewage in the streets in most of the world, but certainly not everywhere. sadly, I think we are Easter Island on a planetary scale - too many people chasing the dollar and their personal desires rather than tending to the business of repairing the harm we've done for the past 100+ years

  • @cruiscinlan Relax. The planet is fine. You've been brainwashed by decades of environmental propaganda. The reason the elite do this is to direct you in the direction they want. Which world government. A government that they will run from behind the scene. That's what it's really about. Once they've setup their world government they'll never give that power back. They set a police state(which is happening now) to stay in power. We're in bog trouble and they are close to achieve this. Wake up!

  • @MustacheVerra God I hope you're trolling. The majority of GCM's suggests a ECS above 1.5c and most have an average around 3c, even if you wanted to argue that the ECS was on the low end of the spectrum below 1-1.5c you are limited by the conservation of energy on a global scale. There really are only 2 unknowns left, cloud radiative forcing and aerosols, and CRF is in almost every case considering a positive feedback. Simply put, all the evidence suggest the earth is warming and for the worst.

  • @sentinel41 Yea i see them spraying that stuff like crazy over here in Canada. Ever wonder why they waited so long to admit it?

  • @MustacheVerra I figure you're trolling. There isn't some grand conspiracy, anyone with enough understanding of the methods can verify the key problems with out needing to rely on published information. It's not governments or the rich that are pushing global climate change (most of the major opponents of climate change are rich), it's scientists working for schools or labs. The data is sound, if you have a problem with the data point it out.

  • @sentinel41 If you follow politics you know by now we are rule by an oligarchy. NOw this so called global crisis will require a "global" response a world government or something like it and this oligarchy will run it and you know it. All that will come out of this is they will centralize power. Just like they did after WW! and 2. The science is rubbish. Their computer model is flawed. Are you getting paid buy CFR to post that stuff. The richest people will benefit from this.

  • @MustacheVerra I just wrote a 50 page paper on the uncertainty surrounding CRF and its impact on ECS. In it I address the problems with the arguments skeptics like Linzen use. I wish I was getting paid to say this, mostly because it's true and I need the money. If you feel the science is shit, please point out the problems in the data. I'll be happy to correct you on any area you might have issues understanding. However, you don't sound like you know enough about the issue to dispute the data.

  • @MustacheVerra In what way could any government use this concept to sway anyone in a certain direction at the gov's benefit? GW/CC does not benefit anyone and certainly not the gov.

  • @miniontemple Is this a joke? The elite IS the government. They run it. They finance both parties and are essentially in power all the time. And now, with this "global" crisis, they want to consolidate on a "global" scale! THAT's what you should be worried about.

Think chess! They are giving you a crisis to get reaction out of you so they can offer their solution. You are scared now and you want something to be done about it so they got you where theywant you &will offer their solution get it?

  • @MustacheVerra The first paragraph is just nonsense, the second based on pure ignorance. The scientific community is pushing for action by government concerning the issue and is getting little to no acknowledgement. They aren't giving the masses a crisis, they are ignoring it. You have claimed a potential world government will arise, yet with no basis for your assertion. The climate problem has been an issue for decades and no such world government has grown out of it.

  • @miniontemple

    good answers :)

That guy simply dons't get how the world works. The idea of a "world government" fundamentally can't exist. Just look at any large inter-goverment body (UN, G20, EU) they cant even agree on fundamental principles and yet their suddenly supposed to come up with a shadowy scheme to take over the world!

And the idea that the scientific community is some how being manipulated/corrupted shows a complete ignorance of the science behind CC is and what science actually is

  • @MustacheVerra unfortunately, i'm just old enough to see how much degradation has gone on and just how much more ignorant most people have become about basic systems and how they function. i have absolutely no interest in world government, so i'm not sure why you went off on that tangent. if you study the history of human civilization and note the impact of humans on the planet, you can't help but worry for your kids. we are very shortsighted and selfish, as a species

  • @cruiscinlan I'm sorry. I see you didn't understand. And that's OK. You're not suppose to understand these things. You're suppose to believe your leaders etc... But trust me, things are not as they seem. If you want a better future for your kids you should trust me. You may not be interested in world government but the establishment is and that's the whole point of this exercise. They will harvest all this power for themselves. And they are not gonna do a damn thing about the environment.

  • @cruiscinlan Well, they might do something about the environment but they are not gonna do the right thing + it's not going to be in their interest to fix it once everyone is hooked on their new religion as it gives them a lot of power. e.i. they will not let anyone come out with alternative energy to gasoline because that is their field of interest. They go to war for oil. They overthrow governments for oil cause they see it as a means of control... What do you think is going on in the ME?...

  • @MustacheVerra You love science like Michael Vick loves dogs.

  • @thesparitan I don't know him and i don't care you stupid climate alarmist. Idiots like you who fall for every tricks the establishment put in front of us are the biggest problem we have. Shut up. Go wacht football or something. You're obviously not smart enough to understand what's going on here.

  • @MustacheVerra Right, well it makes sense that you doubt AGW. You have an air of paranoia and conspiracy thinking. If this is true then nothing I can say will have any effect on you, your mind doesn't have the ability for self correcting bad ideas. Or you are a narcissist.

Ether way I don't care, you are not a serious person.

  • @cruiscinlan to save the planet, we need all nations to quit burning fossil fuels. world govt is needed because without world govt, you have independent states. if states are independent, then they can make independent decisions. Some nations may decide to continue burning fossil fuels, and then the world would end. so we need world govt to hold all the world's nations in line. of course if just the few of earth's largest nations would lead, that could get us most of way there wthout world govt

  • @cruiscinlan MustacheVerra is a wackjob, don't even bother arguing with him. He is one of these conspiracy nuts. Its a mixture of paranoia and egotistical self-centered world view. Basically he is thick as pig shit.

  • Dreeeeeaaaammmm, dream, dream, dream, dream, dreeeeeeeeaaaaammmmm.

  • Sounds much less crazy in this video than he normally does.

  • we can all agree that we need to start taking better care of our home, but the people pushing this green movement/global warming sh*# are the same ones that created a need for it so what do you think, all of a sudden these people had a change of heart and or started listening to consumers HA stop falling for their circle of control

  • @fhattest

A "need" cannot be created from a scientific principle. The science behind CC is more sound then ever, with a huge wealth of data concerning every aspect. As for the "Circle of control" it simply shows a misunderstanding of science itself. All aspects of science is build on scepticism. A scientist wont get recognised by following the "crowd" only be finding something new The fact that so many independent scientists from around the globe have come to the some conclusion is significant

  • 20 years behind.

  • paid shill.. clown

  • As long as the political right refuses to grant the funding and regulations necessary to combat global warming, I don't see how we can be optimistic.

  • @BJ219 EXACTLY! If I had one wish I would wish that all those who are standing in the way right now down to the last IDIOT commenting on YouTube videos as you can see here...Would all be gathered up & publicly humiliated for being the fucking idiots they are! Climate change is very real & the idiots like the Republican Party in America are just making things much worse!
