  • @ManVsIron Whoa, I think you might be talking about different phases in bodybuilding. Hypertrophy (mass building) can only occur with heavy weights....When the BBs cut down, they ALL do low weights and an insane amount of reps

  • @ajayalmighty thats not true... most bbs at least good ones dont change the volume... although they might no be as strong due to restricted calories we still try to go as heavy as possible with good form... as phil heath said "if heavy weights got you all this muscle why would you completely change what got you here for something different"

  • Dorian is 100 percent correct on using a slow negative. The negative causes alot of muscle damage to the fibers, and its the damage to fibers that get repaired to be bigger and stronger.

  • The guy in the back ground has awful form, yeah, but I think what he's doing at the end of the video is just a time saver to work his abs and his tris at the same time in order to increase intensity or save time. It's a great idea and shows an advanced understanding of lifting. His form is still completely atrocious, but you can tell he at least reads about lifting. I would say that his diet is likely not in line, he is inexperienced, or he is a hard gainer.

  • Was talking to a guy at my gym 2 months ago and we were talking about diets and stuff and he said he was just eating fruits and that was basically it. I told him that he's making a big mistake and he wouldn't listen. We just bumped into each 2 days ago and he asks me "damn, what are you doing?" I think he was trying to ask if I'm on gear and I replied that I was eating a lot of proteins, carbs, fats. He shook his head at the carbs& fats. lol some people will never listen or learn.
