Very ignorant. No one these days have the fitness to do the feats of Jahangir Khan and even Jansher Khan. That was a golden era of squash where one game used to be much faster and much longer than the entire match. Power was a good player but cannot be compared to the legends who still hold all the biggest records. Have you ever tried playing the Jahangir Khan type squash? You would know how fast it was. If you don't have fitness, you can rely on quick rallies like players of today.
Alarmingly misinformed - jonathan power was a good squash player for his time but he could not come close to the type of history that Jahangir and Jansher Khan enjoyl Very ignorant of the video poster
@harrami jahangir and jansher were great for their time, but not nearly as good as Power. Power not only played in a later, more competitive era, but by the time he had started professionally, the sport had changed. The sport had transformed completely to a more up-tempo volley friendly game, whereas when the Khan's dominated, the older style racquets were used and nobody played at a fast pace. Power may not have been the best of all time, but he was certainly better than Jansher and Jahangir.
@MrLawlerPants On what basis do you say that Power was certainly better than Jansher and Jahangir? I love watching Jonathan Power play but I have no delusions that he was ever the player either of the Khans were. Jahangir won 555 professional matches on a row including 10 British opens. He had ALL the shots. 'More competitive era' you say. Have you ever seen the likes or Rodney Eyles, Chris Dittmar, Ross Norman to name 3 tough, tough customers. The Khans were in a class of their own.
Best squash player ever? Supposed to be a joke right? You probably don't know Jahangir Khan - the legendary Pakistani player who holds the longest winning streak by ANY ATHLETE (not just squash) in top-level professional sports as recorded by Guinness World Records.
