  • shits easy

  • this stuff is an auxiliary exercise at best- about as useful as good old pull-ups. sure they have their place, but by no means should a program be built around them. this should not be a focus point in any way

energetic fun smart and loves this video yd

  • what do you call this balance board he's on?

  • This might be the only expert village video series that I've seen that could really be called expert.

  • Wow!

  • this is great for your core and especially useful for kickers in football and soccer players to help with their balance at impact and follow-through.

  • Can you elaborate on that? I have heard that it is good, but I do not see how? Just curious.

  • Your core is the center of most athletic movements, especially explosive movements. A lot of power comes from your legs, but your 'core' or your abdominal area is what helps stabilize everything, keep you in balance, and helps to support your body as a whole. Especially for field goal kicking, punting, and playing soccer (futbol) it's imperative to have a strong core and good balance. Strengthening your core helps to do this. I have more on my website in the training section and forum.

  • The core is the center of all athletic movements by definition. Every powerful movement originates from the core. From a punch to a batter swing, to the energy that drives a swimmer through the water (yes swimmers don't move through the water by pulling their hands back. Rather their energy like every other powerful movement is transfered through their arms and originates from their core muscles).

    Not most, all!

  • Good Explanation.

  • this is an awesome core workout

  • good
