this story is amazing. i love this story. :) so emotional and heartwarming. who could EVER dislike something so precious?! Don Bluth and Disney worked on this together? Amazing :) I love both Don and Walt's work. They're truly good animators and good movie directors or whatever you call it. i own this myself its just a classic :D
When i said goodbye to my dog, i kept remembering this scene and it helped me by strong when we took him to the kennels. i miss him still but i know someone loves him and he is happy, (i hope)

This was made in the late 1970's, and at the time, Don Bluth actually was working at Disney, he ended up leaving in the mid-80's after The Fox and the Hound, but Don Bluth actually directed and produced this movie. Not to mention animating a few things. So, anyway, good eye!
See, this is why Disney needs to go back to traditional animation. It inspires them to tell traditional stories that promote traditional values. To quote Tevye: TRADITION!! Screw political correctness!
