My family adopted our 5 year old shih tzu/bichon from an abusive home and because of the 2 year old child that punched him in the face, Dax is missing his upper front teeth. They broke off in his gums and are slowly decaying. It will cost my parents 2 grand to remove them and we cant afford it. Do you know of any affordable vet clinics in British Columbia or Montreal(we will be moving there in a year)??? Thank you......

@lizzyloo97 Lots of dogs can get along without their upper incisors. Are they infected or just worn down? Many worn or fractured teeth can remain in place without problems.

This is so true. My lil Yorkie's teeth and gums got bad. Her back teeth were okay but not her front ones. She kept her long canines but lost the rest but was so much happier and healthier especially after a dose of antibiotics!

@valleyjulie Isn't it true?Clients think I have lost my mind, or I am cruel. We wouldn't want painful abscessed teeth in our mouth, why would they?
