Mochamoo -"BoA4Lyfe" has some point, but I take Japanese classes where there are both Koreans and Chinese, and Koreans speaking Korean end up having an easier time on the verbal parts, because of the words sound alike in Japanese and Korean. Even our Japanese instructor has stressed that it's easier for Koreans to learn Japanese. The Chinese people that know how to read Chinese are better at the writing part, because of the similarity in writing. I think that the verbal is more important.

She spent her vacations there, plus the 6 months living in Japan (before entering middle school) during which she was allowed to speak ONLY in Japanese.
