It was sorta my theme song in 1967 (@ age 20) when everything on the planet was aligned for this kid. Sadly though, I made the wrong call that year; Jai over Joan, big mistake. Then Joan asks me to go to San Francisco in the summer of '68 and because she had turned ME down in late '64 (our senior year) I decided to return the favor. That too was a big fat stupid mistake that I have regretted for the past 40 years. When it's a coin flip, you never know....................

I lived out this song in 1979 at a Disco where I played. She was a Beautifull blue eyed, Blonde name Sandy. I was 21, she was 23. She was a Flight Atendent for Americian Airlines. 3 weeks later, I saw her again, only it was her twin sister Cindy, who I had mistaken for Sandy. Like the last verse. In walked their Father who said " go home and make up your mind". I couldn"t, so I dated them both. TO BE CONTINUED.
