I'd forgotten about this one, They made great music but maybe it's because I was a senior in high school and graduating and it was such a great time in my life. That and I was dating three guys! Those were the days :)
if you have a choice between a male whore and a wonderful sweetman who makes you feel safe and comfortable. Choose Safe and Comfortable, you won't regret it.
This reminds me of my days working in Washington D.C. where the ratio was about 8 girls for every guy. I was faced with this problem there. When I accidentally made a date with 2 girls for the same night, I was reminded of this song from about 15 years earlier.
when i met the girl who is now my wife i was dating another girl. i played this song for like 12 hours strate.i made the right choice but you alwase wonder what if?????
It was sorta my theme song in 1967 (@ age 20) when everything on the planet was aligned for this kid. Sadly though, I made the wrong call that year; Jai over Joan, big mistake. Then Joan asks me to go to San Francisco in the summer of '68 and because she had turned ME down in late '64 (our senior year) I decided to return the favor. That too was a big fat stupid mistake that I have regretted for the past 40 years. When it's a coin flip, you never know....................

I lived out this song in 1979 at a Disco where I played. She was a Beautifull blue eyed, Blonde name Sandy. I was 21, she was 23. She was a Flight Atendent for Americian Airlines. 3 weeks later, I saw her again, only it was her twin sister Cindy, who I had mistaken for Sandy. Like the last verse. In walked their Father who said " go home and make up your mind". I couldn"t, so I dated them both. TO BE CONTINUED.
This song was incredibly cute, even adorable. I wish I had this problem back when I was in high school and college .... especially if the girls involved had been pretty ... and horny!! :>) :>)
Well this definitely shoul dbe Tiger Woods theme song. Having seen Tiger Woods latest faux pas of a commercial using his dead father perhaps he should have used some humor and used the excerpt from this tune! With father saying "Better go home son and make up your mind" =D
around 1990 there was a restaurant chain that used this song for a tv commercial. i think the idea was that you'd have a hard time choosing between lunch special A and lunch special B. does anyone know what the restaurant was? maybe denny's?
@paddyjoejr1 i`m from Ky and was stationed at Ft Riley Kansas in 1969,i had a cassette deck in my 67 SS 396 and listened to the lovin`spoonful all the way home 998 miles love them
