    Ronan

  • :-)

  • Excellent !! 5********

  • yes, music that cossets the land is always good. We do so much damage, though lamenting on this does not undo the crime that we commit in the secular world of the day-tomorrow forgetting, thus is one, no calculation, only the profit of fed to our destined bed, death. As humans, we are the only animals that don't understand. I suppose we annoy all that is well.

  • la musica es genial!! las imagenes preciosas!! pero lo mejor sin duda es el mensaje! fue un placer verlo ¡ gracias!

  • @28alecram Muchos Gracias amigo. Or as we say in Irish, 'Go raibh mile maith agat'.

  • Glad to be of assistance. Many thanks for taking time to watch it. Love the U2 nostalgia on your channel.

  • I'm definately enjoying going through your videos. My internet has been a bit off, but is working better now, so I should be able to check more of them out. (As far as the U2 nostalgia - it's that obvious, huh? Missing the boys...)

  • i like your aesthetic.... thank you

  • Many thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. Much appreciated.

  • Brendan Perry did well allowing you to use the song, and nice scenes to.

  • Many thanks. And yes, I was delighted that he did.

  • this is Host of Seraphim .not The Spirit,.,. fuckin' fake . that's all ... search another one.

  • I see from your rather scant channel that you joined April 3rd, two days after fools day. This probably explains your rather irrational and badly written comment which reminds us all that despite Darwin's theories, evolution was not always such a success.

  • I recognise some of the areas you shot here Ronan, very evoking and some very interesting observations. I left leitrim because of the lack of opportunity but there's always some kind of pull that tells me I should go back and make my own opportunity.

  • We are all children of Mother Earth. It is time to take care of her; before it is too late

    Let's the healing begins.

Thanks for sharing. Ireland is so beautiful.

I watched a movie called ; "Ryan's Daughter' long time ago. Since that movie; I love Ireland.

  • Many thanks for watching and for your kind comments beatricea.

    Ronan

  • A very nice video. I liked it. Ireland looks alot like my home country Armenia. I think earth is spiritual. I also think humans are spiritual creatures as well (eventhough our spirituality is diminishing and we are not taking care of our earth well enough). as the bible mentions after death we go back to earth. we become part of it.

  • Is Earth expected to be a pleasant place to live in? "When" and "why" is what I ask God every day.

  • Earth is what we make it I guess. Many thanks for watching and commenting kommentmaker.

    Ronan

  • epic video, good job ronan

  • Many thanks SONofEIRE. Glad you liked it so much.

    Ronan

  • A beautiful video. The scenes were breathtaking and the music outstanding. I loved it.

    Ronan

  • Thanks for sharing with me Coirpeach absolutely beautiful i hope to go one day soon

  • Many thanks for watching soeasypls. Glad you liked it .

  • The greatest gift we have Mother Nature has provided it for us and we poison, chop down and destroy all before us in the name of progress. We hunt and kill all the creatures that Mother Nature has provided. We are heading for self destruction unless we change. We must respect the land upon which we walk and all those who reside....Peace and Unity.....

  • Many thanks for watching Coirpeach. Much appreciated.

  • In my case Yes though we can forget this link while living and working surviving in a man made envoirnment the earth is our mother she gave birth to us I think this fits into every culture and religion we are from this planed she has fed us and sheltered us taught us how to live so why do we let her be raped by shell oil an national roads authority desecrating graves and national nature reserves money is not going to feed man when the earth rejects us like a fox gets rid of fleas!

  • We are guests on the planet and boy have we trashed it!

  • Well done Ronan

Love seeing the views of my favourite places in Ireland

    Ronan

  • Beautiful Video..I recently walked a meadow in Montana the place my Da so loved and gently let his ashes fall back into the earth, it was the closest I ever felt to him. There was always a breeze on the hill, but not this day, wild flowers filled the air with life, a closure so lovely, no tears only peace. You've captured so much in this video.Thank you Prudence

  • A lovely sentiment Prudence and I'm glad my film brought it back for you in such a nice way.

    Ronan

  • Many thanks Maureen and yes you are right, we are very lucky to live where we do and more to the point, that we can appreciate it.

    Ronan

  • I have associations in Inishowen which is a gorgeous part of Donegal but I think the most dramatic scenery is seen around the North West coast...around the Glencolmcille area and Bloody Foreland.

  • Beautiful film, Ronan. And very engaging!

    Ronan

  • WOW! that was great.

i am american, but my mothers side was irish. in fact im wearing a claddagh ring right now. heart pointing in... im taken.

loved that video, and the music was great too.

  • Thanks Jared. It was shot within a ten mile radius of my home here in Co Leitrim in the North West of Ireland where God takes his vacation! I see you know your Claddagh ring culture. I'm taken too. I married a Galway girl, Valerie, the most beautiful of them all.

    Ronan

  • LOL! well, i live on miami beach where the devil goes to vacation.

i would love to live there though, wow your in heaven for sure.

  • Happiness is an aspiration, contentment is for free.

    Ronan

  • My mom's parents were from Co. Mayo and Co. Tipperary. Thanks for this lovely video.

    It touches my heart.

  • You're welcome Colobberbob.

    Ronan

  • that must have been awesome to film I've wanted to go to Ireland for a while. ☺

  • And you'd be very welcome yoda9148. I know I'm biased but do yourself a favour and come You wont be disappointed either. This film was shot mainly in Leitrim and parts of Sligo, Fermanagh and Roscommon all counties bordering each other and easy to get to.

    Ronan

  • beautiful country...I wish more of the world looked like this:)

I love your choice of music for this video!

you definitely brought the spirituality to this video!

  • Many thanks Debbie. The music is beautiful isn't it. It's by a band called 'Dead Can Dance' who were (and some still are) from, and based in Ireland. And again I should be grateful for their permission to use it.

    Ronan

  • "Last night I had a pleasant dream I woke up with a smile

I dreamt that I was back again in dear old Erin's Isle

I thought I saw Lough Allen's banks in the valleys' down below

it was my lovely Leitrim where the Shannon water's flow."

  • Aha! Clarebannerman. I have you now! You're Larry Cunningham! Thanks for dropping by, watching and subscribing! Oh and best of luck in the hurling this year. I don't think we'll be any threat to you this year in Leitrim! Ahem!

    Ronan

  • Jasus,

Larry Cunningham---he was my great, great, great grandfather! (I remember when he had the pioneer pin.)

  • Hey :)

That was a great video! There are soooo many beautiful places in the world...& this video reminded me of the fact.

It's hard to describe how you feel when your out in the beauty which is nature ....there is no other feeling like it...i always feel re-charged so 2 speak after breathing in good quality chi for a couple of hours, & also quite often inspired for my creative projects.

Loved your video thanks for sending it 2 me.

    Peace & Love

    Pete

  • Many thanks for dropping by Pete. Glad you liked it and yes, the healing qualities of nature should never be underestimated. Thanks for the comment and stars.

    Ronan

  • i have always felt that nuture heals the soul. it does mine. i think this appreciation maybe in part to my irish roots. nice vid. you can sure see why its called the emerald isle. lovely. one think i love about the irish is they seem very down to earth, and seem to appreciate nature and the simple things of life.

  • Many thanks Sarah and you are so right about natures healing qualities. I think the reason we are so close to the land is that we were mainly a farming race up to only thirty years ago and relied on the land to sustain ourselves.

    Ronan

  • beautiful

  • Thank you Sarah.

  • Beautiful country, always preserve it!

  • Many thanks Lucas. Hope to see you here soon.

    Ronan

  • Very lovely thankyou Ronan for this warm blessings of soft light love peace & harmony to you and all your family may you always walk in beauty of mother earth xoxox

  • Nice!

  • Thank you Kiayjar.

  • Ronan, is this near your home? It is very similar to my part of the country as we have rain forests. *Sandy*

  • Yes Sandy, it was all filmed within a ten mile radius of my house. Its an area called Leitrim which is a county in the north west of Ireland.

  • great Balkan singing!!

  • Thanks for comment Peacemaker! The music is very Balkan but you'll be surprised to know that it was created and performed by Irish band 'Dead Can Dance' Google or search them on YouTube. Well worth checking out. Hope you will spread the word about Spirit. Am off to check out your channel, looks very interesting.

    Ronan

  • Great vid all around.Being both Irish & Native American I definitely agree with Mr. Gallagher about the spirtiual connection to the land.

  • Thank you CelticLittleHawk. I think those who were both sustained and starved by the land always develop a spiritual connection, knowing how important it is to life and indeed death.

    Ronan

  • Just beautiful.5 stars.

  • Many thanks for stars and comments.

    Ronan

  • fantastic video i love our irish history and irish heritage and the beauty of our land

  • Many thanks scobyknife2. Hope you will spread the word about it.

    Ronan

  • no probs paul is my brother he sent it to me

  • Aha! Brothers in arms! Thanks to Paul also.

    Ronan

  • ill watch it

  • yes exactly ive always thought that our obsession with house buying whilst in my opinion also indicative of our opression is very much trying to own a piece of land that can never be taken from us and feeling like were rooted here.

  • I'm editing my latest film 'Three Days in Summer' which is a doc on John McGahern the Irish author who died a couple of years ago. He also had an extraordinary relationship with the land, something which I hope to capture in the film. Will be posting it in next few weeks.

    Ronan

  • this is beautiful it sums up succintly how i feel about being irish which might sound strange but as a race i think were deeply attached to the land

  • Thanks Paul. Not unlike the American Indians who are also deeply attached to and have a great understanding of Mother Earth.

    Ronan
