it doesnt really matter that u hold it in a long time its the method u use. i use a method where after hittin the bong i suck the smoke back then release a tiny bit out, then suck it back further and release a little more out and then suck all the smoke back and hold it in for how ever long u want. that for me and my buds worked well and gave us better highs, try it some time.
