It's interesting though, how it ended up being Sam who couldn't live without Dean and would stop at nothing to save him, or earn his forgiveness..losing so much of himself in the process.
Dean was the one who proved able to make a new, happy life for himself if Sam was gone.
I'd love to see them reach a proper understanding of each other - also for Sam to get back to being the sharp thinker he was back then - I hate that they made him become so weak:-(
I just rewatching this episode in TV not more than an hour ago and..
I realized why I've always wanted them together.
Even back in 2005 when I first saw the episode. I loved every brotherly moment, but always kinda.. wanted them to become more and I didn't understood it back then.

Why was my heart telling me that two GUYS(I wasn't very supported of gayness back then) and brothers just belonged together?
It's a great emotional scene, whether you are a Wincest fan or a fan of brotherly love. No matter how many times I watch this, my heart always breaks! Thank you!

"it's more than that man" the first time I saw it, I just totally forgot I'm watching a family tv show, I was sure he's gonna say "it's because I love you!!" or smth *lol*

Well, then I hope it's a consolation that there's quite a pause between, "You and me... and Dad," like 2 or 3 seconds (while the initial "You and me" has barely a second! And I timed it, too!), so it's an afterthought! ^__^
