@whathappeneddtolove bios is basic input/output system. Some people put a password on it so you can't boot in to your computer. And in some case, some people for got there password. And he showing in his video how to clear it for that laptop.

You're supposed to unplug the BIOS battery then turn your computer on, and power it back off. That will reset the passwords.

This a very well done video. You mentioned that you had a problem being unable to clear the password even after unplugging the CMOS battery. What I did on this same model was to power on the NC6000 with the CMOS battery unplugged. This cleared the CMOS registers and reset the defaults on the BIOS setting. Plug the battery back in and the password is cleared
