I ran 139.9 Bassrace and won with perfect scores, but I never burped it wide open. I would think around 145ish (sealed up on the dash with a TermLab of course, no AudioControl door open bullshit) Im no gonna say im doing "160dbeezz" because Its not. and most people lie out the ass about what they can actually score. 139.9 bassrace is pretty loud for a daily driver.

@CodyMTW yeah! a truthful DB score finally but for one subs that is ridiculously loud my FI BL 18s are hitting maybe 140 peak but prolly closer to 135 but would you reccomment an IA death penaly 21 as an upgrade?

200 amp DB Electrical... runs strong never any problems from it. I had a red top up front and 2 batcap 2000's in the back with plenty of 1/0 and 2/0 wire. I was going to get 2 more batcap 2000's if I ran it at 1 ohm daily, but i never did. That whole system is sold as well as the truck. New truck in the werkz

The 21"s are brutal too, but they require such a big box. The BTL ive heard is a great sub, It will probably take more power than the DP's but i dont think its as musical. The DP's sound good in a good box. I would assume the output would be close to the same until you were running 2000-3000w rms then the BTL might handle the power better

what did u have the volt meter wired up to?

The volt meter has 3 wires.... Power, Ground, and "remote turn on" basically. So I ran power and ground directly to my batteries inside so i have a true voltage as to what the amp is getting. and the remote turn on in-line with the remote turn on for the Cactus amp.

that was my Soundstream TRA960.4. verrry powerful 4 channel. atleast 120 rated watts per channel at 4 ohms.

rated at 1500rms. but i was running the cactus at 2 ohms, so atleast 2500rms. It ate up the power easily. I wouldnt push it much harder on music, but 2,000w is perfect for these subs.

I dont think ive had a single sub setup metered in my truck, sealed on the dash i would say around 144-145 @ about 50hz or so, maybe more. my 2 15"s did 149.xx sealed up. and this isnt as loud as that setup was.

hdc3 copper or aluminum, here we go again without the proper facts. im full of it? lol. what amplifier did you have? please dont say a Power Acoustik 3400w. your 2 12"s on "3400w" are NOT going to get you 151db LEGAL (meaning TERMLAB, windows/doors SHUT, mic on the dash). Unless your box was tuned high and wasnt built for daily use. now, can you give more info? or are YOU full of it?

dude i beg to differ i had one of my hdc3 12 on 3400 watts at 1 ohm so i think ur full of it im sure the hd3 could handle just as much or more then that dp and when i had both of my 12s on it i was hittin 151 db in a sedan

to the ear, yes. on the mic idk. this box completely sux for "SPL" because of its size and tuning. plus the sub should be on the passenger side. But it is louder than the 15".

get your facts straight. the AQ i had before was the HD3 15, not the HDC315. know what "C" stands for in there? CHINA. Unless you get the HDC3 w/ aluminum voice coils, you will kill it with 2500w. Yes, the HD3 will handle 3kw. and read above, i already said how much i paid for the DP's
