I believe the idea of Pretty Cure is that all the seasons take place at the same time, just in different places throughout Japan. That's the only logical reason I can see for them all being the same ages in a DX movie.

By the end of suite precure if i'm correct there will be about 26-27 cures (including bright, windy, and flower.) They have spread like weeds indeed. If the bad guys want less precure, they should stop spawning useless armies of evil only to have them beaten and just take them out themselves....When will they learn?

@blubbness, that would make no sense because it's unlikely that when one team faces someone who's about to destroy the world, the rest of precures would just act like civilians and do nothing about it. I think that the explanation is that the precures regain their powers specially for the dx events as shown in the first deluxe movies because they are all the same age but face evil at different ages.

@LuluLuluLS There is an English dub of the first series, but this is a spin-off of the seventh. All you can do this keep looking online I suppose. Maybe the entire movie will appear on YouTube, in which case you may only have minutes before it's pulled again. I'm not kidding. But if the English dub is a success, maybe this will be released in western cinemas one day.

@PrettyCureClips This movie was made well before the "Cure Sunshine" idea was probably even thought of. And if i had to guess the episode gap canon this is in, I'd say at least before episode 8 because it was released same day episode 7 was shown.

@SonicDBZfan This was made at the same time as Heartcatch Pretty Cure. Cure Sunshine is part of Heartcatch, just later in the series. And it would have been made all at once, because Animated Series are.

@mahony323 Technically in terms of franchise Black and White were the first Pretty Cure, They were the originals, and favouritism or not, The original is still the best. And while Cure Sunshine's appearance and Cure Moonlight's revival was later in the series, this movie was created and released when the series was still in its debut. And as I said before Sunshine was probably not even thought of during that time.

@mahony323 probably, but some animes go on whats called a hiatus where they'll just show reruns until they can make new episodes, not entirely sure how its done, some animations wont show episodes until its made unless they made it ahead of time. Like I said before I'm not sure
