The very first statement of this video is bullshit. The Long Count calendar does end on December 21st 2010 but the Mayans made no such prophecy that the world would come to an end. This is merely one interpretation of why it ends. The very first statement of this video is bullshit. The Long Count calendar does end on December 21st 2010 but the Mayans made no such prophecy that the world would come to an end. This is merely one interpretation of why it ends. Many if not more people believe that this date will mark the dawning of a new era in civilisation, a new consciousness that will lead us all on a better path through life. God knows we need one!

With all the birds that have been falling from the skies fish washing up and Crabs on beaches on the south coast of the UK I think this crazy 2012 now seems more probable then totally plausible.

ah spanairds destroyed most of the history, and texts that would explain the time the calander ended but since the spanish saw the the drawings as heresy or from the devil (which they asumed) they burned most of it only i think 2 or 3 books of the maya survived

lol nah the "mayan" prophecy is most likely true or at least it has proven many of the prophecy's parts, no its not about human extinction rather its a whole new conversion of the human race as a whole starting at that date, climates will change, humans will have to have a whole different thinking and a way of life, theres so much i dont understand but the future is on our hands, im guessing that the main point of the prophecy is that we have to put aside our differences and unite as a planet

Even if the Mayans had an incredibly accurate calender system, being able to predict cosmic events far into the future and whatnot, the thing that most people tend to miss was that they also thought the sun would come down and kill them all if they didn't make sacrifices to it every damn day - Its for that reason I just ignore the doomsayers and alarmists because, when it all boils down; its just supersition. Except this one also has numbers.
