It's ironic that most comments hating on Siti did not judge Lee Hom. Pin yin wise Lee Hom was not spot on with the slight western slang he spoke/sang with. Please be fair and objective when placing comments. That aside, both artistes did an excellent job in the duet. I really think Siti Nurhaliza has done justice to both the songs. If Siti were to release a Mandarin album of new materials by top composers of today and there was some serious promotion by the record company, who knows what would happen? New found fame in Taiwan, or maybe China, too?

The only chinese SOLO artist who released malay language pop albums, had about 3 to 4 charttopping hits and got a huge malay-fanbase is Elaine Kang! Back in the 80s, she sat and stood with pop queens like Fran, Anita Sarawak & Sheila Majid. Currently theres Winni K, but her malay CDs are nowhere 2 b found. And its funny how her Malay now is heavily indonesian-accented.
They were both great singers and artist in their own right... but Asia no 1? I dont think so...

Singapore is ready for her first female Singapore idol this season after Taufik (Season 1 winner), Hady Mirza (Season 2 winner). The only chinese SOLO artist who released malay language pop albums, had about 3 to 4 charttopping hits and got a huge malay-fanbase is Elaine Kang! Back in the 80s, she sat and stood with pop queens like Fran, Anita Sarawak & Sheila Majid. Currently theres Winni K, but her malay CDs are nowhere 2 b found. And its funny how her Malay now is heavily indonesian-accented.
