  • I am not a big fan of "less than lethal" handgun ammo, but I bet a face full of that could discourage an attacker.

  • @TheYankeeMarshal Why give an attacker any sort of possibility of an upper hand?

  • a pill? is that the word you were looking for?

  • good thing you mentioned the tree is dead otherwise you woulda had some haters!

    LOL

  • I would not like that in the face from 5 feet.

  • @Heisenbeg Better than a bullet in the face.

  • @mrrobotica I don't know, blind and totally destroyed up face, I know its all relative but id rater be dead.

  • Illegal to kill snakes? Wow!

  • haha cut your nails man

  • Maybe not all that ethical, but hey, we are about to shoot a guy. In a defensive sense, putting one of these in the first chamber of a revolver and using it for a head shot will blind your attacker and make it real hard to defend from the next four hollow points I put in him. Make no mistake, If I'm using my gun, there will only be one version of the story in the police report.

  • @Tradekraft Hopefully that's legal where you live, gotta be *very* careful about using more than one shot in self defense. More power to ya other than that ^_^.

  • not recomended for self defense because getting shot anywhere but the neck or face will just piss off your attacker

  • I'd be embarrassed if I posted this video and then watched it... Seriously? Hygiene is not only about washing one's hands...

  • What a perfect tool for making new 'antique' furniture. The pattern in the pine board is a lot like wood worm. Shoot some of the pieces, assemble, varnish and or French polish. It could look very authentic indeed.

  • try using a lighter recoil spring. you should be able to cycle those rounds.

  • it would be hard to get all those pellets out of a person if they were shot with one of those. I bet it would kill.

  • @shaun2cooldominic I don't know, you certainly wouldn't be happy, but I think a fatality is likely

  • @the86thcreator don't think *

  • For self defense the "legal" guns are is illegal to be used :D

  • :( That is illegal in the UK and that round to :( :(

  • Good Vid. I hope Big Foot don't shoot himself in his Big Ol Foot... chasing mice & spiders & snakes with them 9mm shotshells !!!

  • those nails look lethal

  • vagina.

  • Not effective to kill in self defense, but definitely enough to hurt like hell and possibly blind someone, effectively warding them off with out having a death on your hands.

  • As for self-defense, some of these posts are scary. Unless you are attacked by a South Park character, the head is smaller than the chest. Why shoot for the head to blind or worse, MISS? Some have watched too many movies. I see comments online such as "Why didn't they shoot the gun out of his hand?" or "Why not just shoot him in the leg?"

My 1st rule of guns: Don't point one at someone unless you intend to shoot them.

My 2nd rule of guns: Don't shoot someone unless you intend to kill them!

  • Thanks for this video... friend & I were discussing the merits of this in .45 ACP for him to carry while elk hunting on the chance he saw some grouse. I think the .45 has #9 shot, don't remember the count. But even with a larger pellet, it appears that the pattern disperses too quickly for that use to be practical.

  • soooooooo....... let me get this right , this is not a self defence round then?

  • hey do you think this would be a good self defence round?

  • Wow, youtube has a responsible gun owner. <3

  • Those are some deformed nails you have, but good review on the round! I use them for pests!

  • people in tennessee need to tell their govt to shove it and shoot whatever venomous snakes they please.

  • I think it's good for home defense. One shot to the face and you'll stop the bad guy without killing him.

  • @blam7 i think it a self defence situation where you have gotten to the point where you are firing your gun you should be aiming to kill, and a blind person hat is in pain and now increadibly pissed off can still hurt you quite alot especially if you arnt prepared to take a life to defend your own

  • @blam7 shoot to kill,if the robber survives,he can still hurt you in a more angry state or sue the heck outta you.

  • @blam7 Or you could just use pepper spray, it would have the same effect. The thing about home defense is that if you have to draw your gun, it's most likely because if you don't somebody is going to be seriously injured or killed. For many people that is the only situation they would shoot another person, to save a life. And if you are in that situation you need to keep firing until the threat is removed, either they run away, or they are incapacitated. These shells would not incapacitate.

  • these are good, stop a guy without killing him. perfect for self -defense if u ask me. imagine 3-4 of these shots to the kneecap

  • "Killing snakes in Tennessee -- venomous or non-venomous -- is illegal under most circumstances. But if a homeowner feels that a snake is posing a threat, it can be legally killed." This taken directly from the TWRA website. I have noticed them on the shelf in stores and shops, gun shows, etc. for years now. I have often thought of picking a box to test out, but for some reason?? I have yet to make the purchase. It would be interesting to see the results when used in a pistol caliber carbine!

  • they should put these in bf3

  • my pellet gun does more damaged lol no offenese:)

  • 2.51 hmmm I've been looking for a way to make woodworm effect on my antique pine furniture and now I've finally found the solution.

  • these suck for snakes i dumped a mag an a rattler and it stile was coming at me

  • Dude trim your nails.

  • @serverguy87 they r his back up weapon just in case he loses his gun lol

  • @serverguy87

    he probably plays guitar.

  • These are better for the .357 magnum round. They have a hell of a lot more kick than the 9mm filled.

  • wow, i never knew these existed glad i subb!

  • the plastic wad is the deadliest part. haha

  • BATTLE WITH IDEAS, NOT SHOTGUNS

  • @symon82 and if no one listens to you then threaten every one with a nuke

  • Comment removed

  • pffftchasdkajgdajs he said "penetration" lol

  • @devilrobrob It looks like a true glo setup the same that I have on my G23 and i love umm. Pretty easy to install, just need a hammer, small punch, front sight tool, small Allen head wrench a file and Lok tite. Takes 15 minutes to install

  • Hey what kind of sights you got on that Glock 19??

  • if it was a poisones snake i wouldint care if it was legal or not self defense is self defense. what if you have little kids around? + not realy anyway they could find out. just dig a hole and snake problem solved. im sure most people do this if they even care that theres a snake around.

  • i would shoot tha shit outta snake, who will know you killed a snake in the first place xD

  • Illegal to shoot snakes in Tennessee??? That's strange, I'm glad I can soot stuff like that in my area (mostly copper heads, cotton mouths, and Eastern Diamondbacks). I would rather kill 1 endangered snake than risk the lives of many others

  • 5:00 LOL!

  • Good way to strip the rifling, there is a reason shotguns are smooth bore.

  • @NigelGriff You would literally need to shoot thousands of these rounds to accomplish that.

  • Comment removed

  • yep... i wouldn't feel comfortable with that kind of ammo... I hope the manufacturer will improve the design though

  • Ugly thumbnail you have.

  • hows the rifling after shooting these? i would imagine it would ding it up a bit

  • ...and, looking at this vid, it begs the question why you'd bother to use a 9mm with shotshells for a snake or whatever when real shotguns can be had for low prices.

  • Wow, that shot on the water jug was seriously unimpressive.

  • this looks like the pattern of a .410

  • it would be funny if somone tried to use these for defense against an attacking bear, lol.

  • @pkendall19: I would highly doubt anyone is that stupid.

  • @PooPoo2U you would be suprised. i had a guy come into the gun store before looking to buy a co2 pellet pistol for self defense against mountain lions and bears for his family camping trip. lol

  • so this would be ok to shoot my buddies with? jk

  • I'll never buy these, but thanks for reviewing them!

  • These are terrible for your gun.

  • @tommie314101 Why? The case does not break till after it leaves the barrel. and plastic is easier on the barrel than copper.

  • @TheLastMag The plastic leaves alot of crap in the barrel

  • dude got some ugly thumbs lol my bad

  • in self defense it sure would hurt the shit out of the bad guy though.

  • cool vid

  • I'd rather have a .22, but a neat concept.

  • @tnoutdoors9 It's illegal to kill snakes here brother?

  • More or less like a baby sawn-off shotgun

  • A well done video. I like those targets.

  • i think it would work good for self defense if you got shot a few times in a row youd be in some serious pain from all those little bbs hitting you no way in hell you could kill someone though mabe if you put it up to the skin haha .

  • crap pure crap

  • CCI Suppositories

  • Cool concept. You were right though.. They remind me of horse pills.

  • Clip your thumbnail.. Please.

  • @TheSilenceSaysItAll I was thinking the exact same thing.

  • I think the shot shell is worthless.........might kill a snake at 2 feet.other than that I have no use for them.Nice video though, you showed the flaws .

  • Where do u get that nice (light up) paper to shoot at?

  • @fonzie007007 You can get them at just about any sporting good store or I think even walmart has them.

  • Sexy thumb nail take some Folic acid :)

  • huh, kind of like rat shot in a .22

  • I never even thought you could pick one of these up from the magazine in an auto loader. Figured the plastic cap would break. Good to know. These are good for snakes and such, but to think some misguided soles are toting them for self defense? Dear lord, may the judge have pity on there soles! Cause you know they are getting sued by whoever they shoot with em. {You know there's no way these could ever kill a human under any reasonable self defense circumstance}

  • but in this rounds defense, if you live anywhere near an area where fat older yuppies love to jog shirtless, these rounds can help without doing any real damage

  • ive used these and you could never kill anything larger than a rat with this. they are good if you have problems with pests like that but even a possum wont die right away from two of these round. speaking from experience

  • this is the shit, i have a few. home defence? i disagree. aim for the face with a revolver and empty the chambers. they will not come back for more.

  • @1nakey1 NEVER maim an intruder....they will come to own you and your house. Kill the mother fucker, for dead men tell no stories.

  • @1nakey1

Dude if you use these for home defense and someone with a gun is shooting back you are fucked.

  • CCI makes these in .22lr and .22 mag also

  • they were originally made for the "Garden Gun" which is a 9mm shotgun. That,s why they suck in semi-autos, and pattern bad in any pistol.

  • i could see people carrying this hiking in a compact 9mm

  • Cut your nails dude!

  • Well executed study and presentation. Thanks

  • Is this round healthy for your barrel?

  • i got some shot for my .22 its fun as hell

  • Aww it is so cute:D

  • Great video, but dam bro handle that thumb nail i about puked.

  • what do you dip

  • do they make these harder brasscase +P+ and 000 in .40? lol

  • Make a .50 cal version.

  • @kellycolburn1 LOL shut up cunt. No one wants to hear your airsofting poser 14 year old bitch ass talk about real guns.

  • @TheBighomie6969 I have shot real guns and I know a lot behind some of. I am not a poser, I'm just a guy who plays airsoft, calm the fuck down.

  • They look fun. There's no way they COULD cycle, there would be no way they's slide up the feed ramp. One shot only. Cool as hell though.

  • @rcvideoshooter .40 S&W CCI shotshells cycle just find through my Glock.

  • @Eyewash03 Glock G22 .40, that is.

  • I carry these in my .357 in .38 when I am camping and fishing on the trail for snakes and other small dangerous animals that I may have to shoot fast and at close range. I stager with a .357 hollow point every other round incase I run into anything larger. I don't think these are intended for autos, but work great in revolvers.

  • @bkilpatr100 Heh, accidentally use a hollow on a snakeXD

  • Comment removed

  • i was impressed at the tightness at five feet. this would be a great snake round when a .410 isnt around.

  • you climbing trees after the video, wolverine?

  • its like rat shot or bird shot for the .22 but for the 9mm :D kinda cool

  • I have a 19 anda it cycles with that shotshell every time (15 times)! Maybe i have a diferent spring wheight. (the spring is original, but it is a 100% Austrian Glock)

  • can these cartridges harm the barrel in any way and could they be used to shoot clay pigeons?

  • 0:41 OMG Look At His Nail! :O

  • what, no #4 buck? damn.

  • i still like the concept because i love shotguns

  • im not putting down the round but i think my pelet gun does more damage

  • @sorku11 your pellet gun absolutely does more damage. It all has to do with weight of the projectile. These little guys dont weigh shit, therefore dont cause much damage at all. Just think, this round was designed for shooting a snake or critter down near your feet. Sure a foot shot would still suck with these...but not bad at all compared to a 120gr projectile. Anyone that uses these for self defense is a fucking idiot!

  • @sorku11 L O L

  • @sorku11 id still rather b shot with a pellet gun

  • @sorku11: They're not meant as a mankilling round, they're meant to kill snakes, birds, or small rodents. Use some damned common sense: he's firing it from a 9mm. If damage was the concern he'd just use a normal 9mm round.

  • @sorku11 ok you shoot me with your pellet gun and ill shoot you with a 9mm

  • does that screw up the rifling? My dad has a taurus judge and I noticed after shooting 4/10 rounds through it the rifling seemed to be slightly scarred

  • will these ware down the rifling of the barrel?

  • @Difur1 hell no lol

neither lead nor plastic is harder than chrome moly steel there for wont (and cant) even scratch it

  • Just buy a Governor or a Judge if you want both a self defense gun and a snake/pest gun. I love my Judge.

  • WAY too much talking...

  • @TaboriTattoo then watch a different vid or put it on mute dipshit. I hate reading comments on 5 minute long youtube videos where some incompetent retard bitches about how much talking there was

  • It would be cool to have one chambered in .50 s&w, with some 7 1/2 shot or something similar.

  • Good for snakes?

  • is that the new supository?

  • Would this work for crowd control possibly? Might blind someone though

  • I think that if you unloaded 2300 pellets on an attackers face and chest he might just turn and run. :d

  • Excellent video with great information. My dad uses these in his .38sp for snakes(Texas) and I always wondered what kind of damage they would do if you weren't right on top of something with it.

  • About a year ago I had a kid behind the counter at a pawn&gun store suggest that my desired .44 spl revolver would recoil too much, so I should either get a "Judge" or a .38 Special and load it with "snakeshot." I'm 6'2 and 210 pounds, so I was confused about why he thought I couldn't handle a simple .44spl. Also as to why he thought a .45 Colt/.410 shotshell would be any better. But I took him to task on advising customers to use snakeshot for self-defense. Thanks for making this video!

  • I should get some of these. I have alot of garden hoses...

  • Snakes are venomous not poisonous. Actually there are some rare poisonous snakes, but the snakes you're talking about are venomous.

  • Don't they use those in aeroplanes? I mean, they rip through flesh and stuff but not a plane.

  • sir, wont it rip up the barrels inside?

  • Very informative. Great video, thanks much.

  • so just get a shot gun? i don't know it looks cool. my 12ga works just fine in Oregon. what shot gun you use in your home town?

  • Why illegal to use on snakes in TN? I bought the .22 version here in TX for that very purpose, thank goodness it is not illegal here.

  • Thanks for the video, I wondered if those would be effective at all for in-home self defense, now I know that they are not. Appreciate it. I don't care how long your finger nails are by the way.

  • ur nails are fucking disgusting u animal

  • Honestly, I think this would be perfect for home defense. You won't ever encounter somebody more than 15 feet away from you (unless you live in a mansion) and it is FAR less likely to be lethal so you don't have to worry about that. AND there is no aiming to be done really, point and shoot and he is either going down or the hell out of your house.

  • great production quality....5 stars

  • i shit my pants on the 5yard shoot n see

  • no matter how shiity the pattern is i still wouldnt want to be on the recieving end. lol

  • At first, I thought it was horrible dispersion. But then again, it's coming out of a barrel that's less than 5 inches typically. So I suppose that's about right.

  • Great Video and Good Info ! Thanks.

  • Really...you shoot mice. ??? Up North we have these new things called Mouse Traps. LOL

  • those things would work great on people. aim for the face

  • cut your nails !!! haha crack me up

  • SUP WIT THAT THUMB NAIL!!! GROSS

  • Saw some of these in .38 the other day. Definitely for snakes and rats only.

  • My ex wifes father, an engineer, showed me how he loaded his .44 with this type of round years ago. Yeah, I didn't think it was a good idea before the videos and an engineer in the aerospace industry couldn't figure it out. yikes.

  • this shit must fuck all your barrel rifling

  • @vinyvinyboy not really

  • i feel that if someone shot me with this i would be very pissed off

  • at 1:09 I skipped to the end :D

  • this is a vary good video on the bullet.
