• I loved this movie when it came out....I was in high school and couldn't get enough of it.

  • This song is a total rip off of "a-do-ron-ron-ron, a-do ron ron." by The Crystals... even down to the stage show. Is this a tribute? Was credit given?

  • @icelandknight The Angels originally sang this song in 1963. A-Do-Ron-Ron was also a 1963 hit.

  • This is good

  • :(

  • I love this song

  • I've met Judith Light in person, she has a very nasty attitude.

  • @CaptainSpauIding how so?

  • @sweetgirl449 well, she is rude, she farted real loud and thought she was too good to say "excuse me"

  • @CaptainSpauIding LOL NO WAY, when was this!?

  • @sweetgirl449 few years back. She comes to Florida (Indian Rocks Beach) often and it's kinda well known around here. Some of the people who have dealt with her said shes really loud, demanding and quite rude.

  • @CaptainSpauIding wow. it's kind of difficult to believe. she seems like she'd be nice to meet :/

  • @sweetgirl449 she seemed to have an atitude even before she farted so vocally (everyone around her heard it) then she walked off and was not even decent enough to say "excuse me" leaving us with the rancid stink.

  • @CaptainSpauIding Really, I've heard the complete opposite by other people that I'm friends with that have met her.

  • @JamJam2014 down here in Clearwater where she would frequently vacation she's known as the loud farting bitch on wheels. It was in the local papers that said in so many words how she was at Caretta's and was farting really loudly and refused to apologize. Kinda like she thinks she's above other people because she was in a crappy 1980s sitcom.

  • @CaptainSpauIding guess we all have to have our own experience. I'm not gonna judge unless i meet her. I disagree about the fact that you think Who's The boss was crappy. I personally love it.

  • @JamJam2014 most sitcoms are crappy. Nothing personal. It was a bit before my time.

  • @CaptainSpauIding before mine too. I like older shows though. Most were off air before I was born. Including Who's The Boss. Born in 96 ended in 92

  • @JamJam2014 ah. born in '93 here. Wait until you get into college, it's a big reality opening door.

As a side note, I see your point, these reality shows are pretty crappy, 'cept for Pawn Stars.

  • @CaptainSpauIding Much agreed on that. Sadly, I just found out what Jersey Shore was last year. When I did, I wished I hadn't.

  • @JamJam2014 I admit a guilty I'm getting into enjoying some of the 80s movies dad watched,I liked Live and Die in LA, look on here for a small clip. There's another movie I liked (although stupid) was "The Wraith" I guess it's a guilty pleasure ?

  • These were never a girl group, they are actresses in a film about a girl group.

  • These girls still look pretty good to me. Shame they were a one hit wonder, and not even that in the UK.

Like so many girl groups, they get one terrific song and then nothing. What a waste of talent.

  • lol...yeah, my boyfriend's back and he's coming after you

  • this movie cracks me up <3

  • i know shes so sour...

  • what is it with the lead singers eye-brows der creepy. ¦¬)

  • Y-U-K- A virtually talent free Sandy Duncan...

  • LOL- G.I.L.F Hunting,I'd bang the lead singer.

  • I remember when this movie came on tv. It is really those 3 ladies' voices.

  • Yeah, somebody put the last few minutes of the TV movie up on YouTube and I'm having a dickens of a time trying to find it again. I just saw it last weekend and I like to see it once more. Would you happen to have seen it or remember the person's screen name?

  • A Cat fight between Jil Ekenberry& judith light happen earlier in the movie... over the who gets the lead mic

  • How about Sandy Duncan Chiding Eikenberry& Light about singing backgrounds ....That chewing out is priceless

  • the guys didnt have to clap

  • the handclaps in the original were the angels...in this version ms.duncan& Ms.Eikenberry mess them up hey girls! we aren't playing patty cake here!

  • drummer,i agree!

  • I'll ask it again. Does anyone know if they were lip synching and another group was singing for them? Or are those the real actual voices of Sandy Duncan, Jill Eikenberry, Judith Light?

  • the actual voices of Duncan, Eikenberry& Light were used in this movie... I had this movie on VHS tape& it's them! ( by the way, they only way that they'd lipsych as if they did any dance moves in the background )

  • @cutamisraeli I don't remember if I've already replied but I know for a fact they were actually singing. There was an interview with their voice coach. A friend of Jill's recommended him then Judith asked for help from him.

  • im 14 and no good music and this is it ( AN

    D I LIKE HARD CORE MUSIC )

  • Killer!

I'm 61 and for the first time I can remember seeing the beautiful foxes that sang this song. Does that make sense? I saw the Ed Sullivan version elswhere on yooo tooob, but I LOVE this one!

    Go Angels!

  • patric,It was taken of due to copyright infringement

I don't it hasd anything to do with it

  • You can tell they actually sang it. they sang throughout the rest of the movie.

  • Sounds like a sped up version of The Angels to me

  • My power metal band( triquetra) will have a updated version of this song.. but,it will be reminisant of the original

  • I loved this made for cablemovie

    Is it on Dvd?

  • What I would like to know is, is there a parody of this song online somewhere and if so, how can I access it? I'd like to hear one especially if it's a very good one.

  • Well duh! It's not the original? Really? Not very erudite there?

  • well i love this song and tyhis verson better but the origbal is still good

  • Fuck me, she's ugly. Why is she making faces all the time?

  • @MistressNazrida lol. I thought all her facing were hilarious. There's a picture on a judith light tribute thing where they're singing and the expression on her face looks like she's in a heavy metal band.

  • @JamJam2014 I meant to put faces not facing.

  • the angels (original) version is unbeatable

  • ay wat is the name of this movie

  • bubble, the movie's called my Boyfriend's Back

  • @bubble12292 My Boyfriends Back. The whole movie is one youtube.

  • I like this song!!!

    What was the movie???

Sorry I was born in the 90's

  • its a remake

  • I've been looking for this film for years and managed to get it on DVD at last!... I just watched it and its as good as I remember it :)

  • love this song it brings bk so meny happy memris love it

  • how come in all the remakes of this song the background music was done by a synthesizer? i like the original because it sounds like it was recorded in someone's garage with real instruments and real handclaps by a human not some machine.

  • Sorry, guys, but neither Connie Francis nor The Shirelles ever recorded this song. The writer did want to give it to The Shirelles, but never happened. The Chiffons did record it, but The Angels took it to the top of the charts.

  • Why Is It That With These Early Girl Groups Everyone Messes Up The Names Of The People Who Actually Sing The Songs... Like They'll Put "Ronettes- Chapel of Love" Or "The Chiffons- My Boyfriends Back"...It's As If All They Can Recall Is "The...." And Think of One of The groups names To Fill The Space, However This Clip Is Marked Correctly...I Just Noticed That Brenda Lee Songs, Connie Francies And Lesley Gore Songs Get The Wrong Song Titles Also...Just A Concern If Anyone Else Has Noticed This

  • science, with chapel of love...the ronettes did record it originally..but the Dixie cups version beat theirs to the release date

  • science, you're wrong /..the ronettes originally recorded Chapel of love...their version is on the ronettes ultimate collection the chifons covered My boyfriends back the same year that the angels had a hit with the same song So alot of songers covered other singers/ vocal groups songs .... it was something that happened a lot back then

  • It got it from amazon

  • The movie is called My Boyfriend's Back but I haven't been able to locate it any where when I was younger my mother taped it when it came one tv but now the tape is wrecked and I can't find a copy of it. I think it was a tv movie

  • what movie is this?

  • where can u find it??

I've been trying to find it on youtube and at video stores. i cant seem to find it!!

    Anyone have an idea??

  • Does anyone know if these three ladies sang this or did some other group do it and did they lip sync it?

  • I'm pretty sure it's NOT the original group since one of the singers (in the middle) in this video clip is Judith Light ("Who's The Boss 1984-1992) who also played in this TV show called "My Boyfriend's Back" in 1989. :)

  • Let me rephrase my question. Did Sandy Duncan, Jill Eikenberry, Judith Light sing with their very own voices when they sing the famous song, or were the lip synching?

  • @cutamisraeli They actual sang. I looked it up. There was an interview with their voice coach. He said Jill asked him to help her and then Judith also wanted help.

  • JohnDoe'This was a made for cable movie..

I remember watching it on lifetime

  • @cutamisraeli All the actresses actually sang it. I read an interview about a vocal coach and he helped Jill Eikenberry and Judith Light prepare. So yes, they're actually singing.

  • Great Job, one of my relatives loved this song when they were a teenager in the 50s or 60s. Dont know who sings it, do you? Anyway your video is really funny.

  • Connie Francis?

  • connie francis did it

    so did the chiffons

but the originals were the angels

  • I think that the Shirelles did it also. In fact, I read somewhere (I think it was on YouTube) that the song was originally written for the Shirelles but that the Angels wound up doing it.

  • I Never Heard The Other Versions Other Than The Angels, Which Would You Say is The Best?

  • the angels

  • Great Job, one of my relatives loved this song when they were a teenager in the 50s or 60s. Dont know who sings it, do you? Anyway your video is really funny.

  • isnøt the girl group the boufants based on the angels..._ ( The made for cable movie ,of course) their sound is some what reminisant of them

  • i cant believe that thats judith light!

  • @softballgirl9362 haha why not?

  • I can't believe this is out on DVD. This is the best movie ever made for T.V.

  • This is my all time favorite TV movie!

  • Judith is a lot hotter than the lead singer. who's that anyway? wrong casting. Judith should be the lead.

  • @dynamic27ph I agree.Jill Eikenberry. I think they thought Judith played a wild one better though lol. Trying to get away from the business woman character cause she was already one in Who's The Boss.

  • best movie ever!!!. Finally it is on DVD. Havent seen it since my brother spilt coffee on the video tape back in 1990

  • haha I've got this film on dvd, it's a good film.♥

  • I have posted another video of Judith Light on my fan site, reelsingingstarscom, on Judith Light's page.

    ...and it is on DVD!

  • I tried looking for the fan site but I can't find it. I wanted to see the other video of Judith Light that you posted. Thanks
