It looks like they are smiling because that's what the mid face lift does, just like an upper face lift makes people look like they are surprised. Any face lift is just dumb IMHO, you never look natural again.
In the before and after pics some of the people are slightly smiling in the "after" pic and the women wear more make up in the "after" pic. That makes it harder to see the true difference.

This is so phony. If you look at the after photos the patients are smiling and alone will lift the cheekpad.
