Wow, this is AWFUL. It's just a collection of sounds, and some guys who can't sing and have midlans accents. It's not music!!!!!!!! It's just dire. I'll stick with Floyd or Led Zep any day of the week. (Im only here coz of soccer am, wanted to see what this band did...and its crap!!)

@MrAndrewRob I could name 100 bands I like!!! They were just examples of bans who can sing, play and write lyrics and good music. I like music for being good music-and if there is a message or meaning, then thats great too. I dont need to open up to garbage to be cool or different! Why would I want to listen to this, seriously its painful to my ears. I don't even class this as music its just noise!!!! I know people have different tastes-but this???? Its just horrendous.

That just means you like what you like, it's not an explanation of what good music is. I've got my own... PWEI is not garbage. You just don't like them. Good for you... go back to Floyd and Zep... some of the most tame and boring music on the planet... and stick with it.

@cockywatchman1976 well, they are very safe musical choices... hardly anyone would fault them, but they're not the be all and end all of the musical spectrum. The collection of sounds you refer to derives from sampling... the lyrics are pretty much about comic books, cartoons, movies, bands, etc. all good fun. it's more hip hop than rock, but pretty good mash up of the two IMHO. by today's standards it's maybe primitive, but hardly uninspired. dance music is usually misunderstood by purists

@deejayalemus Ok I take your point-Im into many different artists-I just gave those as examples of very good musicians, lyricists, performers etc. Im not into dance music or modern pop garbage. I like a variety of indi and classic rock stuff, 60s, 70s and 90s....I just don't find this is something I could listen to and enjoy as music, or even find interesting. As I said it's literally a collection of sounds, samples and bits. I mean I honestly think I could do something like this

@cockywatchman1976 I've heard lots of sample heavy novelty records, and like lots of artists with funny names like Shitmat and Atari Teenage Riot. I wouldn't outright laugh at someone else's musical efforts because it wasn't what I liked (I'm eclectic). I suppose you could say I bought into this music in 1989 and have been following it with interest ever since. no need to be in PWEI, I made my own records as a hobby. I can & do like this and fully respect that you don't. peace!
