in the final case during the part when you play as edgeworth it was the most amazing moment in ace attorney ever for me at least(did anyone really expect miles to act as a defence attorney anyway???) exposing the lies,facing franziska,that was a real plot twist!
I'm not one to cry at most things, and certainly not a video game, but there's just something about the Ace Attorney series... that grabs you in. It makes you feel the emotion, whether you want to or not. It's almost as if you're the one in the game, that you're Phoenix Wright. That you're experiencing the happy - yet painful - events as a lawyer.
Bottom-line, I'm happy I ever discovered this series to begin with. Really makes you look at life a different way. Aw, the impact from a simple game.
You took the words right out of my mouth. This game...I'm so thankful to my friend for introducing it to me. It made my summer...no, my life. PHOENIX WRIGHT FTW!!
@holhol1235 I've cried at plenty of video games. Video games can be like books, only you take control of the hero and you have to guide them through the story. When done extremely well, like in the Ace Attorney series it has a way of bringing you to tears at times.
@holhol1235 i agree with what u said although these games scares the s*** out of me cuz of all the breakdowns o.o but then i guess it what makes the series popular
@holhol1235 I totally agree with that what you wrote there. When I played these games, it was like that I felt everything the character felt, when the character get's hit, I feel the pain, when the character feels embarrased, I feel embarrased too or when the character laughs I do that too. *sigh* I just wish that more games were like this.
@Raicuda As I stated in another comment I just made today, I just got back from doing stuff at Drexel, so I will be able to continue in the case now. Again, I apologize for my absence, but I am at least happy to see that someone continued to fight in my absence. The case goes on, it seems.
Luke Atmey, of self-appointed "Ace Detective" fame disliked this video. At which point there was but one dislike. However, sometime after, there arose two dislikes. I stated that the second dislike was Luke Atmey's ego, as it is so large. Unbeknownst to me, the second dislike vanished, to which I have no explanation.
@Raicuda I have no knowledge of when the second dislike was added. However, what I can assure you of, is when my first comment on this video was added, that second dislike DID exist.
@Raicuda I am just a regular guy and since when prosecutors has the authority to give bailiff commands?
*Logic theory start*
First of all, you object against the fact, that there was only one dislike in this video. You stated too that only a couple of hours ago there was only one dislike. But isn't that weird that this video, who has been uploaded 3 years ago, had only one dislike, and then you appear here like POOF, claiming that there is a second dislike? That's kinda suspicious, isn't it?
@Raicuda Proceeding back to the topic at hand, I have reviewed all of the case files associated with the dislike. It seems that suspicion has been cast on Raicuda for the second dislike. However, this case is for the trial of Luke Atmey, and I have no reason to believe that Raicuda is responsible for that crime. Therefore, I wish to strike 1530415's baseless accusation from the record assuming that the prosecution has no arguments.
As for the other matter, may I begin my cross-examination?
The prosecution has no arguments to the defense's request. You may begin your cross examination. Also, for the sake of showing I have nothing to do with the dislike 15305415's accused me of, I haven't actually liked the video up to this point. I believe you will find now It has 215 likes from my one like from 214. *Youtube Like/Dislike System updated in Court Record*
@1534015 Hahaha. "I don't need evidence for that." I hope you're joking, because that's not how this court case works. By the way, I'm back everyone. Sorry for being off YouTube for a while. I got caught up in stuff at Drexel so I had to get away for a while.
@DrexelDragonO91 Luke's ego became so massive it took on its own life, killing him in the process, thus wiping his dislike away? Either that or he pulled such an epic fail at the end of The Stolen Turnabout, his ego was lost forever, along with the dislike.
@Raicuda That's not for the prosecution to decide. Tha's the judge's decision. Besides that, you don't even have evidence to support your claims. At least I managed to show ambiguity in the witness' testimony.
That brings me to my next question. Let's presume for the sake of argument that I was responsible for the dislike. Why then would the witness state that Luke Atmey was the suspect, and not me?
@Raicuda On the contrary, a flaw in someone's testimony is as good as evidence. You claim that the witness was mistaken. However, he knew the client by name! Judging by the level of detail the witness has provided, we can clearly see that it was not just a mistake. The witness was lying in his testimony!
However, let's just say for the sake of argument the witness made a mistake. He should be given the opportunity to revise his testimony. What do you think, Raicuda?
@JMBoote1 You have been asked by the court to revise your testimony. Please return to the witness' stand and tell the court what you know about the dislike. This time however, give the truth.
Lol this reminds me of Luke Atmey :O (btw: I love how his name sounds like Look At Me.) Lol, I think some one told me that before i just can't get over it.
@ArtificialliHappii A lot of Ace Attorney names are a play on words. Like Dustin Prince (JFA) = Dusting Prints, Wendy Oldbag (all of them~) = Windy old bag, etc.
@DigitalxGamer Yush. Like "Buddy Faith" (Investigations) Faith in your buddy. Cindy Stone. (Ace attorney) As in cinder block which is a stone. :3. Red white of blue corp (Ace Attorney.) Red white blue (xD) April May, corisponding months. Viola Cadvarini = Dead body. And alot moree. :33
The Dislike button is only red when you put the cursor over it, so indeed Godot would have just put the click over it and even if he wasnt able to see de thumb down he would still be able to know and click It!
Surely you joke. With all of the recent updates to youtube, the dislike button has undergone several changes! Therefore, I must ask... where is your evidence that he disliked this when the button was in its current state?
...*slams desk* HA! this can be proved by simple facts... to start, We know that this video, indeed, has only two dislikes. How do we know it was Godot? The simple fact that we have both a witness claiming Godot's guilt, and the knowledge that Godot and Mr. Wright harbour a deep hatred towards each other, provides the motive for this case. Having no other suspects, we can conclusively say that it was, in fact, Mr. Godot!!
@XJHenryX OBJECTION! Very good, but can you show EVIDENCE it was godot that clicked that button *flashes 25% of your bar* if you can't prove that, we don't know if it was just some random troll or someone who missed the like button!!!
... I hold in my hand evidence of Godots enmity towards Phoenix. This... is the very coffee cup thrown at Mr. Wright so many times from the hand of Godot.
@XJHenryX -pursuit ~ caught starts to play- OBJECTION! We all know the ill will, but that isn't enough is it? Do you have evidence to prove he clicked the button, and it wasn't Atmey or Tigre, or both? Godot is innocent of clicking the dislike button untill you prove the contrary! -suspense theme starts to play-
That does not get rid of all possibility it could be them, do you have any proof it can not be them? Lets make this intresting. *Flashes your whole health bar
At the end of the second game, we learn that the one Fran really wants to beat is Edgey, and that Phoenix was just a "challenge" that Edgey couldn't overcome.
During 1-5, she just has a short temper, rather than trying to hinder Wright. Actually, she openly offers to help during investigation. (Just look at the script for that case. She's actually quite calm provided Wright doesn't say something that unnerves her.)
@Dextroyfuller I present as evidence that Winston Payne is guilty of clicking the dislike button twice... HIS HAIR!!! It's due to Mia ANNOUNCING THE TRUTH he lost it, so what theme is almost directly involved with that?
@SolMasterzzz Then why not dislike Maya's theme? Or Pearl's theme? They are her sisters, and why dislike the song that plays EVERY TIME a lawyer announces the truth? for all we know, if Payne were to be right about the guilty verdict, this song just might have played for him!
@XJHenryX OBJECTION! When you lose to Payne, (which wouldn't happen normally, but you can present wrong evidence), this theme doesn't play! All music stops, and the judge hands down his verdict. This theme only plays when the defense attorney wins! And I have a motive too! Not only did he lose his hair, he also lost his 7 year win-strike! People have killed for only losing their perfect trial record! Ergo! The prosecution claims Payne is guilty! -drinks milk, because he hates coffee-
My good sir, I can't help but notice that you're drinking milk, correct? However, you claim to be representing Godot, as I am most certainly trying to prove his guilt. However, I rule in absence of a genuine defence attorney! Being a coffee enthusiast like himself, he would have never hired a defence lawyer that hates coffee!!
@XJHenryX HOLD IT!! If you're a prosecutor trying to convict Godot, and I'm a prosecutor trying to convict Payne... It seems the judge put two prosecutors on this case... So... I guess that means we both rule in absence of an attorney, meaning this case is not a case at all, but rather two prosecutors prosecuting different suspects... yeah...
...I mean, what? W-W-WWHAT!? (MAKES ALL OF MY EXPRESSIONS!) WHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT? Then... I'm in the wrong courtroom! (I knew I should have joined the Trauma Team...)
Also, Edgey has really no reason to dislike Wright at all anymore.
During 2-4 and even the trailer for AAI, he says that he only wants to find the truth, and that winning isn't important. (Look at his conversation with Fran at the end of JFA.)
Also, he seems to care about Wright enough to actually take his defense role for a while. And during 2-4 and 3-5, the two seem talked more like friends than rivals.
I hold in my hand the piece of evidence that disproves that any of the three would have had the opportunity to dislike this... This issue of Nintendo Power! It is clearly stated that Miles Edgesworth 2 is to be released at some point in the future. These characters each play a role in this game! With so much of their time devoted to this, when would the chance arise to dislike this video with so much on their mind? Also, this song plays in that game, so why dislike?
In a case where I've turned all the evidence against the real culprit...he stares at me on the other side of the room. The prosecutor was the murderer all along. Everyone in the court staring at me...
Judge: Mr Wright why the hell did you get that keyboard?! And why are you playing this music?!
Me: Because that guy is SCREWED AHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
@toyotasupramaster Godot is supposed to come across as cold, mysterious and an unlikeable jerk when you first meet him in the game. His appearance goes some way to enforcing that. However, he does become quite an awesome character by the time you reach the end of the last chapter.
Also, the prosectors aren't "evil", its a character trait of prosectors in Japan to achieve victory no matter the cost regardless of the defendent being guilty or innocent.
@BassX0 Well, look at Franziska, She is evil. and Manfred, Most evil character in Phoenix Wright. Godot, I don't really know, I just started to play Trials and Tribulations.
@toyotasupramaster Stick with Trials and Tribulations. I personally believe it to be the best of the Phoenix Wright games. Its got an an amazing last chapter.
What I meant with my first comment is that he didn't look "evil" to me when I started the game, only really mysterious and "dark". But it's no surprise he looked evil to many people, seeing the trilogy's prosecutors' trajectory and his looks.
Whatever, end of the comment chain, this is worth nothing.
i don't know why capcom did what it did to Phoenix in apollo justice, because this theme really only suits him and he really makes the most of it with his epic finger point, WHY CAPCOM, WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!
@Spyrorocks2 I agree. It's not a bad game, but it's lacking...compare to the other games. However, I really do like Trucy, Ema, and co. and yes Apollo too. After all, it was the first AA title I played. But not being able to see any of the older characters makes me really sad.
@Spyrorocks2 Alright yes your definately right. But Apollo Justice while it was the worst it wasn't bad at all. But the only return character was the name that escaped me from Turnabout Sisters
@kaibawiz I'm playing it now, and absolutely love every case, currently at case 4 just through the 7 years part. I'd say I like it so much because of the different aproach to it. you really didn't like the first two and the last?
Why did Godot dislike this?

@twotailedavenger how? he can't even see the dislike button!
iusethelancer1 1 year ago
@iusethelancer1 OBjECTION!
The Dislike button is only red when you put the cursor over it, so indeed Godot would have just put the click over it and even if he wasnt able to see de thumb down he would still be able to know and click It!

@ShoraiZenta HOLD IT!!
Surely you joke. With all of the recent updates to youtube, the dislike button has undergone several changes! Therefore, I must ask... where is your evidence that he disliked this when the button was in its current state?
XJHenryX 1 year ago
@XJHenryX OBJECTION
The real question is, how do you know he disliked the video at all.
If you can't prove that, YOU don't have a case!!!
iusethelancer1 1 year ago
@iusethelancer1 OBJECTION!
("Announce the Truth" begins to play)
...*slams desk* HA! this can be proved by simple facts... to start, We know that this video, indeed, has only two dislikes. Godot!!
XJHenryX 1 year ago
@XJHenryX OBJECTION! Very good, but can you show EVIDENCE it was godot that clicked that button *flashes 25% of your bar* if you can't prove that, we don't know if it was just some random troll or someone who missed the like button!!!

@iusethelancer1 TAKE THAT!!
(courtroom goes silent)

@SolMasterzzz (...it's too early in the morning for this to happen...)

OBJECTION!! Both Luke Atmey AND Don Tigre are currently inmrisoned, both on counts of murder! Godot is Phoenix's only remaining enemy!

@XJHenryX OBJECTION!!!
how do you know it is not miles edgeworth? or winston payne? or fransizka von karma?
iusethelancer1 1 year ago
@iusethelancer1
OBJECTION!
This plays for Edgey during part of 1-5, so it's partially his theme too.
Also, Edgey and Fran are both somewhat on friendlier terms with Wright, so they don't have much reason to dislike this.
That just leaves Payne as a possibility.
Dextroyfuller 1 year ago
@Dextroyfuller OBJECTION!
That does not get rid of all possibility it could be them, do you have any proof it can not be them? Lets make this intresting. *Flashes your whole health bar
iusethelancer1 1 year ago
@iusethelancer1
TAKE THAT!

@Dextroyfuller OBJECTION
Very good, but can you prove PAYNE had nothing to do with hitting the button? *Flashes 1% of your bar as nobody gives a shit about payne

*takes Payne out of Court Record*

Dextroyfuller 1 year ago
@Dextroyfuller I present as evidence that Winston Payne is guilty of clicking the dislike button twice... HIS HAIR!!! It's due to Mia ANNOUNCING THE TRUTH he lost it, so what theme is almost directly involved with that?
SolMasterzzz 1 year ago
@SolMasterzzz Then why not dislike Maya's theme? Or Pearl's theme? They are her sisters, and why dislike the song that plays EVERY TIME a lawyer announces the truth? for all we know, if Payne were to be right about the guilty verdict, this song just might have played for him!
XJHenryX 1 year ago
@XJHenryX OBJECTION! -drinks milk, because he hates coffee-
SolMasterzzz 1 year ago
@SolMasterzzz OBJECTION!!
XJHenryX 1 year ago
@XJHenryX HOLD IT!! If you're a prosecutor trying to convict Godot, and I'm a prosecutor trying to convict Payne... It seems the judge put two prosecutors on this case... So... I guess that means we both rule in absence of an attorney, meaning this case is not a case at all, but rather two prosecutors prosecuting different suspects... yeah...
SolMasterzzz 1 year ago
@SolMasterzzz TAKE THAT!!
...I mean, what? W-W-WWHAT!? (MAKES ALL OF MY EXPRESSIONS!) WHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT? Then... I'm in the wrong courtroom! (I knew I should have joined the Trauma Team...)

@iusethelancer1
(continuation)
Also, Edgey has really no reason to dislike Wright at all anymore.
During 2-4 and even the trailer for AAI, he says that he only wants to find the truth, and that winning isn't important. (Look at his conversation with Fran at the end of JFA.)
Also, he seems to care about Wright enough to actually take his defense role for a while. And during 2-4 and 3-5, the two seem talked more like friends than rivals.
Dextroyfuller 1 year ago
@iusethelancer1 OBJECTION!!

Why Godot looks so evil? and WHY THE FUCK most of the prosecutors are evil in this game? (still, awesome game)
toyotasupramaster 1 year ago
@toyotasupramaster Godot is supposed to come across as cold, mysterious and an unlikeable jerk when you first meet him in the game. His appearance goes some way to enforcing that. However, he does become quite an awesome character by the time you reach the end of the last chapter.
Also, the prosectors aren't "evil", its a character trait of prosectors in Japan to achieve victory no matter the cost regardless of the defendent being guilty or innocent.
BassX0 1 year ago
@BassX0 Well, look at Franziska, She is evil. and Manfred, Most evil character in Phoenix Wright. Godot, I don't really know, I just started to play Trials and Tribulations.
toyotasupramaster 1 year ago
@toyotasupramaster Stick with Trials and Tribulations. I personally believe it to be the best of the Phoenix Wright games. Its got an an amazing last chapter.

@BassX0 I'm now in chapter 3 and from what I know you play as Mia in chapter 1 and 4 and in chapter 5 part 2 or 1 as Miles Edgeworth

@toyotasupramaster Nobody said otherwise. I finished all the PW games a year ago, by the way.
PhyOSPhyOS 1 year ago
@PhyOSPhyOS I finished Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice about 1 week ago and Godot looked evil in the beginning.
toyotasupramaster 1 year ago
@toyotasupramaster Hm... okay?

Spyrorocks2 1 year ago
@Spyrorocks2 I agree. It's not a bad game, but it's lacking...compare to the other games. However, I really do like Trucy, Ema, and co. and yes Apollo too. After all, it was the first AA title I played. But not being able to see any of the older characters makes me really sad.
HikariBun 1 year ago
@Spyrorocks2 Alright yes your definately right. But Apollo Justice while it was the worst it wasn't bad at all. But the only return character was the name that escaped me from Turnabout Sisters
