Gophers here are like the plague. they cause all kinds of problems for the cattle. Ranchers are thrilled if you get rid of some some gophers for them.

It depends whay you are hunting. For hunting gophers you can either use judo points or small game heads(made by G5)

Both work fine & they both fly good.

use Judo Points or just plain field points, that's what i do w/ just a 30lb recurve...

you practice on hitting pop cans, they're about the same size as a gopher.

Im use my crossbow for gophers all the time...very effective. I like arrows for gophers better than guns beacuse if only the tip if the gophers head is out of the hole, you can shoot the arrow on an angle into the ground right in front of the hole and it goes through the ground and gets them.
