The movie "Interview with the Vampire" was the film adaptation of the book by Anne Rice. The song is the theme of Lost Boys (that's now a book too, I believe) and the band is the very talented Blutengel from Germany.

Yes. Yes it was from the Lost Boys. That's really how I started to like Blutengel. I was thinking about "that song from the Lost Boys" and listened to some other songs and really liked them.

your thinking of the second lost boys movie. its originally by G Tom Mac, otherwise Gerard Macmann. that version was in the first lost boys.
