hilarious monty, but hydrogen fuel probably wasn't the best choice for explaining the hypocrisy of our oil dependency since extraction of hydrogen from water consumes more energy than it gives out. I think a better example is the prohibition of clean diesel fuel efficient vehicles in the USA - as an example, my father drives a VW Sharan which is about the same size as a Dodge Caravan and gets about 45mpg. This vehicle is prohibited in the US due to a protectionist agreement.

And even then, the federal reserve has plans to illeviate that process.
