    Only the manifold was bought from Rohte Motorsport. The other items were made by myself. Turbo Audi A4, Downpipe self made etc...

  • what did u install i drive avw passat stage 4 ko4 tubo .. 25 psi .. and trust bro mine does that ... thats what u get when u dont ahve a bov installed .. btw .. the sound your hearing is a deverter valve. ... when u lett off gas ... it blows exxess air out to the turbo

    It`s a K03 "S" (K03-073) out of an Audi 1,8T... But This car doesn`t exist anymore. The red one, in my other Vids is the actuall one... At the moment turbo get`s changed to an K04-020 out of an Audi TT 4WD...

    Sorry, i don`t Know what "surging or sumtingg" mean in german?! ;-) But there was no Blow off mounted an the air moves back through the turbo by closing the throttle.

  • @onyx0413 surging would be when u have no bov and the air goes back to the turbo causing it to spin backwards...not such a good thing at all

    Ich suche für meinen auch noch den "optimalen" um zeitigen Druckaufbau und trotzdem möglichst hohe Endleistung (200PS) zu haben.

    Den Polo hier im Video oder in den anderen Videos gibt es nicht mehr. Der Motor fährt nach Neuaufbau nun in dem roten Polo ( siehe meine Vids ). In diesem Video hier ist ein K03S verbaut aus einem Audi A4 190PS (BEX-Motor). Zurzeit hab ich den "kleineren" K03-005 aus einem 1.8T Passat, weil der andere hopd gegangen ist... Also diese lader bekommste recht günstig und passen auch auf den Rohte Turbokrümmer...

  • @onyx0413 und wie hoch fällt der Unterschied bei den beiden Ladern aus? ein K03-005 hab ich auch rumliegen, ich überlege ob ich ihn verbaue oder gleich den KK03S aus dem besagten BEX Motor (wobei glaube auch die kleineren Audis den Lader hatten?) verbaue...wie gesagt,alltagshaltbarkeit brauch ich nicht unbedingt, wenn der seine 200-220PS ab und zu mal drückt und bei weniger Leistung sonst seine 3000km hält ist alles iO

    Obenraus merkt man einfach, dass der K03s schon mehr drückt. Desweiteren hält er den Ladedruck obenrum stabil, und knickt nicht ein. Der K03s hat auch nur 8 große Schaufeln an der Turbine hingegen zu 12 kleinere Schaufeln des K03-005. Wenn Du den kleinen K03 schon hast, würde ich aber den mal draufsetzen und testen - vielleicht bist zufrieden damit ;-) Wechseln kannst Du immer noch. Ist ja ratz fatz umgetauscht! Aber wenn Du schon einen hast, eiunfach so mal testen...

  • @onyx0413 ja ich habe mir einfach mal zum "anhalten" ein günstig bei ebay geschossen...muss mal schauen was auf dem typenschild steht...ein neuen leg ich mir nicht hin bis das ding damit funktioniert,wenn er hochgeht kann man immernoch ein neuen kaufen :D ok dann verbau ich ihn erstmal, anscheinend sind die "ausmaße" ja die selben...was macht dein aktuelles polo-projekt? wieviel leistung hat der rote jetz?

  • Da sitzt nirgends einer... Ist ein G40 Motor auf Turbo umgebaut... Also wenn man es genau nimmtst, sagst einfach PY ( G40 Motor ) mit Turbo...

  • find ich gut 1,3er turbo haste auch verdichtung geändert und g60 einspritz düsen genommen was haste für ne nocke drauf chip usw alles ordentlich angepasst schön schön bau neiner freundin gerade genau so ein motor für ihren neuen polo 86 c 2f viel spass noch an alle

  • Ja, is schon gut... ;-) Nein, Verdichtung brauchst Du NICHT ändern, da er original ja schon auf 8:1 ist. Grüne G60 Düsen sind drin und 3F Nocke. Chip ist angepasst bis 1,3Bar mit originalem Map Sensor.

  • Your going to blow your engine having the wastegate piped right up to the turbo housing my friend you need to fit a bleed valve to let the wastegate open so you dont max out your engine! nice set up me and my friend are doing the same convertion.

  • Yeah... This was only the first testrun after mounting the components ( two years ago )... Nowadays i´ve mounted a HKS EVC1 Boost Controller! ;-)

  • Yeah, a bleed valve prevents boost pressure from reaching the actuator can until the boost is higher than it would be without the bleed valve.

  • Sorry, I can see how this seems unrelated, I was replying to 'wtdvwg40'. As he seemed to think that a bleed valve reduced boost rather than increased it. HKS boost controller sounds very fancey! I adjust my actuator by shimming it up still, its not great but it is free!

  • The manifold is Rohte 6N and the Turbo is a KKK K03 out of an Audi A4 1,8T (150hp)! You can also use the turbo out of a Passat 3B 1,8T... These Turbos fit correctly on to the Rohte manifold...

  • There is no blow off mounted in the Video yet... That was only the first testrun, without a blow off. What you hear is the air streaming back throug the turbo... ;-)

  • im a somewhat novice when it comes to engine work, i can work my way around a mk2 golf engine bay quite well but how hard was it to actually drop the turbo onto the engine and do all of the work? thanks for the help

  • whats quicker and more fun a turbo'd or charged G40 as im looking into getting one and not sure if its a good idea to change the charger?

  • I`ve not driven a G-Charger in my Polo... It was a 75hp engine inside and I only bought a G40 (PY) engine "without" the G-Charger and instead of it, I´ve mountet a turbo.

    With the turbo it`s very easy to get high hp. It has about 180hp...

  • No, the 1,8L manifold does not fit directly... First we wanted to weld the manifold ourselve, but then I decided to buy a manifold, which fit correctly at once... It is made for Polo 6N and 86C and I`ve bought it at "Rohte Motorsport"...

    --> Hope there aren`t too many mistakes in this text - it`s only school learned English ;-)

  • It`s a PY (G40) engine but instead of a G-Lader it`s mounted a turbo on it...

  • Yes, they come with a G-Lader... But I bought a G40 Engine ( my car was former a 75PS Polo ) without a G-Charger, and instead of the G-Charger i put on a Turbo out of an Audi A4 1,8T - and yes, it`s fun...
