see hw the dance uses her skills in flamenco when she does the stomps, fred must have coreographed that with her particular strengths in mind. isn't that a pro way to do things. he did not try to outstage his partners always the graceful elegant hoofer, fred, and rita, well, she was incredible. what lovely long slim legs. see how she puts her knees to hide the bony look, real pro. wonder if there were mirrors off camera or if they used shadows instead or simply the sound .
Astair said that Rita was the best of all the dancers he knew. Even Ginger. Hayworth danced in her fathers dance studio in Mexico, and that's why it came so natural.
