At 9:30 I was on a wired Ethernet connection and got four for the Friday, and my mate also got four at his house (we only needed four total, but in case one was unlucky, we both went for them... in the end we had eight, so we're letting the four spare go to mates and work colleagues at cost price, unlike those vultures on ebay).

Reni is, or at least was, a wonderful drummer. To see him play as part of the full line-up is something that I never thought I would get to see; to say that I'm excited is so far beyond an understatement that it's ridiculous.

i love the fact that 4 absolute legends ian,mani,reni and john are going to be millionaires after the comeback. jaime oliver, james blunt, chris martin,el hadji diouf etc are all mega rich knobheads so its good that the best band ever gets the rewards. their 3rd album is gonna be amazing!!!

Reni and John are seminal artists, while Mani and Ian have got big bollocks. This is one of the most talented bands in British history, they burned so bright they imploded. Makes Coldplay and Oasis look like complete bland mediocre peanut juice.

@comanchio1976 yeah it would be great to get hold of a ticket or two somewhere down the line, and once there see all the 30-40 year olds dancing like fish..not forgetting the fact some 17yr old might go and be inspired enough to form his own group.(happened to me back in the day).

@chebss In the same situation as yourself mate, I tried for three hours to get through on the phone/web and they were completely jammed. Now the tickets are up on Ebay for stupid amounts, and there's no way I'm paying silly money.

@chebss I wouldnt lose heart! The frenzy will calm down in less than a week. A quarter of a million people are now due to go over the weekend, a large amount will not go due to either...illness, failed relationship, holiday, move, change jobs lots of reasons people will end up not going at the last minute, always happens! Then they need to offload the tickets and things will have calmed by then. The same happened for oasis at knebworth and their maine road gigs in 96.

Reni is, or at least was, a wonderful drummer. To see him play as part of the full line-up is something that I never thought I would get to see; to say that I'm excited is so far beyond an understatement that it's ridiculous.

My 22 year love for the Stone Roses has been shattered and I can't believe the total frenzy for this reunion...most of my friends who were into them the first time round back in 89 - 90 feel the same.....very sad....I just hope The Smiths don't follow them.

Ian was on form and there was a few entertaining parts to the interview that had me laughing but it did seen a bit uncomfortable. I've listened to the albums loads but not so much in the last fews years (every now and then though ;) ) but Reni does now look like a geography teacher now...
...I'm off to watch part 2 of this though :D

so they wanted to do something positive for everyone in these hard times so why are real fans being bummed while tickets are being sold for hundreds of pounds more than they are worth on ebay it turned into an utter farce with sites also crashing because touts were clogging them up its left a bad taste in my mouth i suppose those with tickets wont agree what do they care.
