  • i've got the vinyl of this buried somewhere

  • Does anyone have the actual Nick at Nite IDOJ promo from 1994 with this adaptation of the Suzanne Vega song underscoring it?

  • Man, Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman were gorgeous! Barbara Eden still is...

  • good song havent herd this in along time thanx for put it on here

  • A couple years ago this popped it in my head and I had no idea how to find it but did through the power of google. I'm glad other people remember it too.

  • I LOVE this!!! Too funny. I never missed this show!

  • this is a great song to have sex to lol.

  • 1st heard this on" toms album" lots of versions . this is one of the best

  • good editing!

  • Just randomly woke up with this in my head, thinking I imagined it as a kid... I'm glad it was up! (and is real! :-p) Thanks!

  • nice song !

  • Barbra Eden just has that classic hawtness that is lacking with today's current "it" girls.

  • I LOVE THIS VERSION ALMOST MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL

  • @rogelioduron Me too...lol....this one is better...makes more sense. lol

  • lol..I still have my tape will all of the perodies....lol...this was the cut.

  • i heard this in college.. while i was drunk..lol.. liek i am now. lol

  • This was a brilliant creation. That wasn't really Suzanne Vega, right? Just a sound-alike? Really enjoyed what you did, thanks.

  • Uh. It's not by Suzanne Vega though, dude. It's a parody by Marilyn Whitelaw.

  • Hah!

  • This is my friend of 30 years, Marilyn Whitelaw. She now lives in Switzerland.

  • Just google marilyn whitelaw and jeannie and you'll find the info.

  • I am lost... Is this Tom Diners or what?

  • A derivation of same, yes it was.

  • "Yes, Master" - Mmmmmmm

  • you mean Tom's Diner by Suzanne Vega

  • The show is such a beautiful and uthopic fantasy, the kind of things that can make young ladies dream, and old ones cry...but the best part is that this shows are inmortal...always airing somewhere.

  • That was really nicely put together - well done...

  • who sings this ?

  • lmfao @ "...kinda like bewitched"

  • Is this off of Nick & Nite in 1994-1995 or so?

  • Really nice, thank you

  • n-nice....may be addding a rap would be good

  • interesting. :-)

  • thanks for the post. i own a bar in the midwest and have been trying to explain this song to people for years. i used to own the "tom's diner" cd fifteen years ago and can't seem to find it anywhere....

  • It's actually called "Tom's Album" and you can buy used copies @ Amazon!

  • Clever, very clever

  • THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH for posting this, I was llooking for the full version like on TV at the time. Please post more, I love this show and got the DVDs too.

  • That was wonderful! Brought tears to my eyes. Thanks so much.

  • Is that Prince Charle's older son at 1:36?

  • No, I don't think so, but it's not Larry Hagman. However, also, that's not Barbara Eden either. ....?....

  • I'm replying to Crazyhorz "Is that Prince Charles older son at 1:36?

  • Spoofin' on two of my faves. The song and the show. I got a great giggle from this. Incredibly clever. I love it!

  • thanks for the opportunity to watch this video.A take it as a gift and find it funny that the day this video was posted was also my birthday.

  • The first season of IDOJ, 1965, actually had a much different theme song, far more sappy and far less catchy.

  • Una de mis series preferidas de pequeno y aun las veo en cable canal 40, 12 am por si quieren saber

  • this video is groovy . i'm in love with barbara eden she is one of the biggest actricess in the world!!

    i love this show.

  • My fav Jeannie episode was Paul Lynde as an IRS agent.

Dr Bellows:"Major Nelson, it's nice to see you finally do it to someone else!"

  • esta muiii padre!!!!!!!

  • Lets get get things down to brass tacks. I preferred watching IDOJ to Bewitched, basically because i would rather fuck Barbara Eden than Elizabeth Montgomery!.

  • and I prefer IDOJ to Bewitched because I would rather do Major Nelson than either of the Darrens!

  • Very amusing comment Lestat1966!. OK! You can shag Larry Hagman & i will make do with Barbara Eden! Am i to infer that you are homosexual, or is it just part of the joke?. In any case, it does not matter, but i would like to say that that i would definitely put Elizabeth Montgomery, [who sadly died of colorectal cancer in 1995], in front of Larry.

  • that is just wrong.

  • Has there been any other actress as more Beautiful, more talented or funnier than Jeannie? Barbara Eden is America's treasure!

  • Cool!

  • I love it! It's a cute video and very entertaining. Good Work!

  • i always prefered I Dream of Jeannie, than Bewitched. Bewitched bored me to death...haha. This was cute though. Loved it. Creative. :P

It just kinda stunk that during that era, it was forbidden to show your belly button, and a man and woman couple was not allowed to be in bed together, without one of them having their foot down on the floor. =/ I'm an 80's child. I wanted to be a 60's child. Haha!

  • TwiggyMarshmallow, why is it that some IDOJ fan always has to compare IDOJ to Bewitched? Bewitched was first, Sam's the original queen of BW had much better storylines so if you are or were bored with BW it's because you have a juvenile mind. Most juvenile's only understand physical clowning with no meaning, which is mostly what the storylines of IDOJ were. 3 Stooges were better than IDOJ.

  • I prefered i dream of jeannie to bewitched, still do. why do you have to be snotty about it. There was no better or worst between the two shows its a matter of opinion. GROW UP AND GET OVER IT!!

  • really nice I like the lyrics and the pictures were really clear.

  • THAT IS VERY CUTE!

  • That was really good!!!

  • entertaining.

  • To Phamilee:

Suzanne Vega is here: vega dot net

The song was a parody from Tom's Diner.

Hope that helps and thanks all for the comments!

  • you reali love this serie... i like a lot how you performance the song,,, great work with the pictures too,,, thank you for upload it.

  • im 22 years old and i love i dream of jeannie i have the complete series on dvd

  • that was really good.

  • wow, that was awesome!

  • who wrote the lyrics?

    @suzanne...wow you're good.

@spink...you used window's movie maker? isn't that kind of hard?

    loved it. thanks for posting.
