@Lapu1776 thats a bad idea. ever heard of the word "Bottleneck"? if your CPU cant keep up with the GPU, you will lose a lot of performance. if 2.3Ghz is already overclocked, you cant go much higher than a HD5570 im afraid,

Yeah pretty terrible CPU...by the time the P4 3.00ghz was coming out Intel were sorta in trouble...it was faster yeah but performance was lacking especially when you see benchmark test these days you will also find out it also draws a stupidly high 80+ watts while a core 2 duo only draws 65 watts. Im glad Intel sorted there Cpu's out im using Core2duo atm brilliant proccessor.

Unless you oc that cpu you wont be able to play at a decent framerate. I recomend 3.5 ~3.8 ghz with a good cooler. When the resolution increases the cpu won't count that much .

Then I guess your Pentium 4 must be a Northwood clocked at 3 GHz or something and has HT. I have been using a Dell with a 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 without HT and it takes 5 minutes to download a song from iTunes. On my laptop it takes about 1 minute.

Well that is good to hear. 3850 is good tbh. It can run many other high end games with great FPS. For instance, Gears of War or Unreal Tournament 3. I run them on high with 50 fps +. I think it has something to do with how well the game is optimized. :D
