Evolution is constantly occurring. At any point you can say that one shouldn't alter their brain because it's evolved to that point but prohibiting experimentation would have prevented that evolution from taking place in the first place. I smoke pot. I would say I smoke like once every 1 or 2 months. I do it mainly to have fun with my friends. It's just another activity a choose to engage. I personally perceive it the same way I perceive basketball or playing video games. It's just another fun activity to do.

What's your opinion on people with severe ADHD who use ritalin and metamphetamine to be enable them to learn at the same rate a normal person would? I'm one of those with very severe ADHD and I can't focus on anything without my medication. Not that it makes any difference to you since I smoke hash and drink alcohol specifically to escape from the problem I deal with in my daily life; which are all related to my ADHD. Something I can never cure. And yes.. I'll admit that I'm a weak person.
@donnishark I don't oppose drug use as a temporary part of medical treatment, used to restore a person to a state where they can function. But ADHD is a bad example because it's largely a fabricated disorder. If ADHD actually exists, few people have it. Ritalin is prescribed far too often.
I myself have tried to kill myself a few times. all the kids in my school use me as their whipping boy. my teacher was talking about about the same thing. he asked if anyone had ever tryed it. everyone laughed a bunch then i raised my hand. i told the story of the nearly 50 sueicide attempts. most people looked shocked at me and i look at one kid who had been an asshole to me my entire life. i pointed at him and just said "FUCK, YOU" then walked out the door. people started fucking off that day.

The only reason thats possiable is because most people who try to suicide, cant do it, injure themsefls badly, go to the hosiptal, then they arrest yuo when you get out of the hospital.

I dont see a point in going to the desert personally, you will just have different problems when you come back because that's how life works. You always have problems, I personally cannot remember one time in my entire life where I had no problems. Drugs have been know'n to distract you from your problems. Your example about the 17 year old teenager is exactly what he is talking about, rather than using drugs to escape his family problems he should be more focused on finding ways to resolve his problems, such as moving out or something. I've been thinking about that red and blue thing for a while, happy to see I'm not just losing it.
I drink to escape things sometimes. I most times deal with it eventually. I personally think you see drugs to black and white. Yes there are weak people who use it but there are others you just enjoy it, make social lifestyles out of it, I don't see why you have to despise them is all.

What's your opinion on people with severe ADHD who use ritalin and metamphetamine to be enable them to learn at the same rate a normal person would? I'm one of those with very severe ADHD and I can't focus on anything without my medication. Not that it makes any difference to you since I smoke hash and drink alcohol specifically to escape from the problem I deal with in my daily life; which are all related to my ADHD. Something I can never cure. And yes.. I'll admit that I'm a weak person.

@donnishark I don't oppose drug use as a temporary part of medical treatment, used to restore a person to a state where they can function. But ADHD is a bad example because it's largely a fabricated disorder. If ADHD actually exists, few people have it. Ritalin is prescribed far too often.

I myself have tried to kill myself a few times. all the kids in my school use me as their whipping boy. my teacher was talking about about the same thing. he asked if anyone had ever tryed it. everyone laughed a bunch then i raised my hand. i told the story of the nearly 50 sueicide attempts. most people looked shocked at me and i look at one kid who had been an asshole to me my entire life. i pointed at him and just said "FUCK, YOU" then walked out the door. people started fucking off that day.
